As we celebrate the moms in our lives, one family is remembering a wish granted with the help of a doctor who acted fast. WCCO’s Ubah Ali has the bittersweet story.
I will never forget Dr. Kaufman sitting down beside my dying Dad on his hospital bed and putting his arm around him after my father told him he was so scared. He sat there for nearly 45 minutes just listening and talking to him. I knew the Doc had rounds and appts but he put compassion first. I will always be grateful.
thats SO amazing! I'm crying now (good tears) for your sweet dad and mine💜 I always try to remember good happy memories but sometimes I find myself thinking of my dad and so many other's dads💗💜 and I start missing mine💔
It qualifies because this doctor actually cared! This doctor had empathy and there’s not a whole lot of doctors who would care enough to take the time and effort to make a patient feel cared for.
Yeah this was really bad, they never explained what the grandma wanted to know and what the doctor said to her. Presumably she wanted to know the gender and then only she got to know before the baby was born?
@@anonanon1982 The video says that the Dr. brought the machine into room and performed an ultra sound, then whispered something into her mothers ear and it made her smile. It couldn’t have been anything else.
What a beautiful and heartwarming act,🥲it’s nice to see that they’re still wonderful people out there!! Especially in today’s world, May the dear Lord watch over all of them🙏💕☺️
Great Story but very poorly executed. Some of us here had no idea what the Dr. did. As I continued to read the comments, the readers made that clear. It appears the grandmother wanted to know the gender of the Baby. Again, for a news report, very poorly executed. Congratulations to the new mother. We always carry our loved ones in our hearts.
Thank you for saying this! I was thinking the same thing. I came to the comments bc I thought maybe it was just my brain, which is a bit elevated right now! 😉 This clip had something critical to the story that got left out. 🤔 But knowing the gender of the baby is the most likely thing.
Feel good stories should be seen more and more over the violence that fills the news and YT. Positivity over negativity anyday is good for the heart and soul.
How could you even think to ask this question? That thought is so sad and uncaring. We must each be thankful for the things in life we are given or have. We need so much more positive and heartwarming things in our fallen world. ✝️🙏🏻❤️😀

What a fantastic Doctor with quick thinking. I'm sure her mom's in Heaven watching everything ❤️🙏🕊
This is a doctor in every sense of the word!
What a beautiful and wonderful doctor and family 💕. What a beautiful blessing 💞❤️❤️
Way to go Doc!
You’re one of a kind.😊
Bless that Doctor for caring so much!!❤❤ We neef more Dr.s like that!
That is a good doctor, and they are hard to find.
This is so incredibly heartwarming.. thank you doc
Thank you doctor who cared
GOD BLESS you and your family
I missed what it was the doctor did! Did Grandma watch the ultrasound? Confusing!
I know!! Just tell us! She wanted to know the gender?
Yeah this was really bad, they never explained what the grandma wanted to know and what the doctor said to her. Presumably she wanted to know the gender and then only she got to know before the baby was born?
I think she just wanted to meet her grandchild. Short of meeting him in person, the ultrasound allowed her to do this ❤️
I thought it was just me not understanding the story. I was quite confused. Maybe she knew the name and the gender?
Doctor did an ultrasound at the bedside of Grandma~He then whispered the gender, a BOY, into her ear shortly before her passing☆♡☆~:)
Such love and compassion. May she rest in peace knowing and watching over her family and friends.
This is so heartbreaking. My mother passes away 2 weeks before my daughter was born. It was a bittersweet time.
This story didn’t make sense
Yeah they definitely messed up on the editing or something because they totally left out an important part that made the story make sense.
Here I thought it was just me totally confused. The reporting was horrible. They left out a lot of details that were important.
So what did he do 😂
The title says “dying wish” but the report never actually says what the wish was.
Yeah I am confused. I was hoping reading the comments would help.
@@julievanderleestShe just wished to know if the baby was a boy or a girl.
@@WesaTwoRivers How do you know? Or is that a guess?

Awwww. Im so sorry for y'alls loss.

Great story!
Love you Aunt Shirley!!!! ❤️❤️
Wow, what a beautiful story!
Bless you all! 🙏
What a beautiful story sending prayers to you and your family
Wow- so beautiful!

@@RestingBeachFace yeah they fumbled this which is too bad because it’s a sweet story.
How wonderful
This is so beautiful 🥲🥲
So her dying wish was to know the sex of her sixth grandchild, and took that knowledge to her grave?
I have the same question
Do what
i love this.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤love❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Oh my heart...
Jesus Christ please touch this situation and bring Your peace that passes understanding as only You can do for the family . Light be. Amen ❤️
So the wish was seeing the ultrasound? I missed what the wish was.
Please😳☹️❤️😀
So…. The million dollar question is…..WHAT EXACTLY DID HE TELL THE GRANDMOTHER?? Was it the gender?
Perhaps just hearing the baby’s heartbeat💓🥰❤️😀
🤮🤮🤮
How does this qualify as news?
