MGM Grand Airline

Produced for TNN's American Magazine, this airline has long since bit the dust. Nice idea, though. For a price, you could travel in style and they'd feed you. What a concept...food on an airline that tasted good. I think I remember those days. Original airdate 6/1989

MY AUNT AND UNCLE RIP,,, AMEN!!! USED TO FLY INTO NEW YORK CITY ON THE MGM GRAND WHENEVER THEY WOULD COME TO THE CITY FOR SHOPPING AND BROADWAY AND RESTAURANTS FROM ORANGE COUNTY CALIFORNIA!!!
I HOPE AND PRAY THAT ANOTHER AIRLINE IS STARTED LIKE THIS SOON?!!

They were full size beds not queen size. It was the only way to fly, although Betty Ford whispered to me on one flight that Air Force One was just a little bit nicer just prior to Gerald sitting next to her asked me for the recipe of the lobster salad on brioche he had just finished.
