- Nic's Grill is a tiny restaurant that's big on flavor. Located in Oklahoma City, this cash-only joint was featured on the popular Food Network TV show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives." Open for breakfast and lunch on weekdays only, Nic's Grill offers traditional breakfast favorites, chicken fried steak and legendary onion burgers. With only nine bar stools and three two-person tables, Nic's Grill fills up pretty quick, so come early. In addition to the burgers and chicken fried steak, Nic's also offers a rotating daily special of meatloaf, fried chicken and pork chops. However, the most popular menu item at Nic's is the burger, which comes smothered in cheese and topped with caramelized onions.
Most people don't realize, Oklahoma is like the Mecca for hamburgers. One of the reasons is our stockyards. We have access to super fresh beef. In OKC alone there are literally dozens of places that serves top quality burgers you could write home about. In the whole "bucket of milk" that would be the Oklahoma burger industry, Nic's Grill is the cream that rose to the top. That being said, you have to try our regional favorite too, the fried onion burger.
This place is amazing. Been eating there for a few years now. He now has opened a new bigger location that now also serves breakfast on the weekends. It's in midtown OKC off of NW 10th and Robinson. Already been there and it was awesome.
Oklahoma, by far, has the best burgers and steaks you can get anywhere country. It's not even a contest.
Yep 10/19 food looks delicious, i'll take a mom& pop or family owned place with good food over fast food restaurants anyday, period.

I went there yesterday for the first time because of this interview. The Burgers were so mouthwatering and juicy! It really is a tasty burger. It's a small place with only 16 seats and a line outside but hella worth it. A+
