Thank you very much for this tutorial. I bought the Sandisk dual drive go usb type-c and i was mad at first that it didnt work but after seeing your video and instructions i now got it working. So your video does not only apply to the LUXE version but also for the GO version with the usb-c type connector and type A connector on the other side.

Bro your a lifesaver 🙏🏾💯I thought something was wrong with the ixapnd drive, my initial thought was either the app wasn’t working or the drive. I’ll update you if it works but this definitely helps me out and clears up the confusion I had🙌🏾

I bought the luxe 256gb drive a few months back and it works great with my iPhone 11 Pro and my windows pc. I just got a new iPad around Black Friday but it is not the iPad Pro. I tried what you suggested in your video but no untitled folders show up. Looking at the product specs again for the luxe, it says compatible with iPad Pro. So I’m wondering if the standard iPad is not supported. I’m bummed, I hope there is a fix out there. Any ideas?

There has Got to be a way to write a shortcut script that backs up pictures to the stick. I just used your methode THANK YOU! and had to manually select the 400 pict to transfer - couldnt find a select all... then after they transfered, had to manually select again which to delete. I had the old Ixpand stick and the app made it So Easy...

You will probably still need the app for it to work

hii , I'm about to purchase this , and I have a doubt, if I use it for backup only option for full photos and videos ,and after connecting it on my Mac/windows computer can I view the photos and videos and copy them to Macbook as a normal Pendrive itself??? or its like encrypted like non viewing on computer?? pls reply..

Not 100% sure on that but what I do is save on my phone first and then transfer it to the drive.
After I put the photos and videos in the disk, can I delete the photos and videos from my iPhone? Will it erase it?
Hi, that is the purpose of the unit. You want to transfer to the unit and erase off your phone to have more space

My iphone 15 plus can’t detect the ixpand luxe flash drive. It opens on android though. Am i missing sone setting?

Not sure about that. You want to record using your internal phone memory first and then transfer it to the drive.
What about copying albums, how do you do that please?
Not sure about that, usually I just do it one at a time

One issue with it, with the ixpand app you could take backup of live pictures and then restore them as well. But now with the usb c the live picture gets saved as jpeg. No backup of Live Photos and it is a major issue for people who use live photos a lot.

I have 11,000 pictures and videos. It’s taking a long time to transfer to the ixpand. I just bought the ixpand to free up the space in my phone

The i-expand lux usb with C port doesnt actually fit into the i-phone 15 snug and just falls out
