Just takes the doors off stands it up and sprays the wholes thing alls at once maybe? You can still cover the whole living room in paper and tape if you wanted to.
@@kelsycunningham8452 no the point is take the door off stand it up in the garage or wherever you can paint the door all at once. Two boards nailed to the bottom of the door hands free. Then come over to the casing trim and door frame which is already installed and paint them without the door being in the way. If you needed a second coat you still can. This is just the preferred method of most contractors. You can do all of the doors at once. Maybe that was the only door or side that needed paint still better than randomly spraying the gaps in the door. Great abstract door painting. Also check for runs in the paint. how can you do that when the door is closed. So many more advantages to this I can't go over all of them.

As a person who painted professionally for nearly twenty years I would never have unloaded a sprayer and set it up and done all that masking for one door, he might have had multiple other doors ready to go.

The tip of the sprayer to small u miss plenty of spot, the gun it self it sounds like the filters not even clean 🧼 you can hear those little splashing

Quick to paint, but how long did it take to tape it off? How sharp is the paint line at the tape? How much overspray got on other things close to it?
Take the door off. Take off all the hardware. Paint it outside. Paint all the edges. Take pride and do it correctly.
