Nene hosts a "Bye Wig" party where all the women must attend rocking their natural hair, but things spiral out of control as a familiar face returns to confront Eva. Just when Nene's party couldn't possibly be anymore hair-raising, a misunderstanding involving Nene ends with everyone not just wigless… but also speechless.

More than likely there will be big wigs from both the fashion and political industry at their wedding so this wedding isn't just about getting married but also impressing and shaking hands with some big players in the industry. Each wedding is different based on social status.

A good high class Wedding could get more financial donors for her Husbands Political career and get Eva more modeling gigs however a bad low class wedding could get people doubting her husband ability to be mayor of a city if he can't even plan a decent Wedding and people in the fashion industry are superficial so if her wedding was bad they more than likely would black ball her taking potential gigs away. Being in the high fashion world Eva's wedding is expected to be high fashion.
Also I doubt they don't have it. Both of them should have been making six figures a year even after taxes so a $100,000 wedding shouldn't financially break them even while looking for a new place. The issue more than likely comes from wanting to save more money to be more financially secure. There is a difference in not having it and not wanting to spend it and in this case it is the latter.

I'm a black woman and humidity still affects my hair and I ONLY wear it in its curly texture. It gets super frizzy and makes my curls less defined. I do agree though we as black people need to reevaluate our reliance on weaves and wigs.

It's embarrassing the way that she was acting she is a wife and a mother. I've always said when I was in my late teens when I seen a woman drunk for the first time that it is not cute nor ladylike. I've always kept that same way of thinking. It is not womanly to be intoxicated like that especially outside of the home, you are a woman, a lady, you represent your husband when you are a wife and you represent your children when you are a mother!! The things that she was doing ie lifting her legs up, trying to suck and kiss Eva's breast, telling Eva "I love you", then slapping Tonya's pelvic area (and when Tonya did not remove her hand or tell her to stop nor did she remove herself from the table, that was telling us something to) was very telling plus disturbing and very very embarrassing. Okay so on the topic of natural hair, if you’ve never spent hours doing your hair just for it to puff up from moisture the next day you can’t understand that struggle. Now I love my natural hair, wouldn’t get another perm ever again in life but yes I do go through periods where I don’t feel like doing it cause it takes a lot to keep it styled. I think the argument that black women wear weaves more is mute because our hair is different from every other race on the planet. We have to worry about sweat, moisture, heat damage if we want it straight. The practice of wearing weaves, wigs, braids falls under protective styling and honestly at times is just easier

She felt as if the producer had told the camera man in his earpiece to go in the closet behind the girls so she felt like it was a set up which we all know RHOA producers do. It was hard watching the ladies act and speak on how much they disliked displaying their real hair. Sad beyond. It’s like once you start doing things to enhance your appearance, the appreciation for your real self becomes diminished. Be careful not to lose the love for your true selves ladies.

I bought a human hair wig one time and when I got it, I was scared of it 😂 I returned it. It’s so weird to me to wear other people’s hair on my head. In your words, “I don’t even know that LADY” 🤣 I’ve always worn my natural hair and I encourage my daughter to do the same. In my opinion wigs are good for temporary styles. But to be worn all the time, back to back, to the point that you are uncomfortable being seen without it? That is a problem. Same goes for makeup. So I agree with you.

Hallelujah about the wrap!! I've always had a lot of hair, but after years of dye and heat damage I wore a weave and then extensions for style. At the end of last year I cut four inches off of my hair, and took it back to high school to the wrap. I feel so good, and naturally beautiful. I no longer feel like I have to have every hair in place. I love it!
I love that about being natural as well. Dont always have that in the back of mily mind. Wind, rain, hail.....I dont have to run for the hills

Yes, but dineva , really understand what assimilation is tho, i didn’t like what Porsha , Eva , or Kandi said.,. But... also understand we are still getting fired for wearing our natural hair for being unprofessional, militant, etc etc... trust me! I’ve experienced & have witnessed this several times! So it isn’t as easy as “just wear your hair” we have to undo decades of conditioning, have some compassion for your black sisters.
