Regarding command strips, try using hair dryer to heat it up a bit before removing. Suction cups typically the area has to be cleaned with alcohol before placing them.

Make sure you use more than 1 glue dot per balloon!

You changed your technique a lot over the last year. What do you prefer... fishing line or clustering and tying centers? Would you suggest using glue dots, glue gun or adding clusters with 260’s.
I’m making a balloon garland for a baby shower for a family member and not sure which technique to go with.
I love to use necks of clusters, using this method I am getting fuller garland and don't have to fill in too many spaces. 260's/rubber bands/necks of balloons for adding more clusters.
