Sometimes you get siblings, like the Braxtons, who all sing with the same tones in their different ways. I hear all of their vocals in each other and those sounds are absolutely beautiful, together or apart. Though they aren't siblings, Destiny's Child has this same feature about them, especially the root singing styles of Letoya, Kelly and Beyoncé.

Traci has a lot of potential but she's a lazy singer. You can tell with how she supports her notes and breathing technique. Her voice is the most unique and has a lot of different qualities but she doesn't work on it. She sounds like she could probably sing in the 7th octave. Tamar might not be the only Braxton with a 4+ vocal range. I love Trina's voice and singing, my problem with her is that she holds back so much and she's a little lazy as far as singing in her upper chest register. She could probably sing soprano with training (as that F#5 showed) although she would still shine in her middle register.

exactly. i think that how the family treated her when she got pregnant and had to stop singing with the group when they were younger really lowered her confidence. i mean you can tell that she lacks confidence in herself on the show. i mean she would have shows and they wouldnt even come support her, but that girl was at every girl show supporting her sisters. sometimes you just want to hug her and say Traci you can do this!

I truly love this family! I think what makes me like Tracis voice is that she has a husky distinct voice but yet she can actually get up in those high notes! I mean her runs are different subject at times but if you hear her album, that thing is poppin!
Trina on the other hand I feel knows her voice is bomb but has been discouraged by the industry. And also how close her voice is to Tamar's.

Another Danxer Traci's Debut album was good I love her tone actually my fav outside of Toni of course! I love how husky it is but delicate it can be when she upper belts like Tamar with some of her C5's on the album e.g. On the song "Perfect Time" when she says "I promise that it will be the PER-fect time to stay and play with me".
Plus as we heard in this video she does have range Tamar isnt the only sister with 5 octaves.

I am not a singer yet, I LOVE great "sangers". Traci is so much better than I thought. But, Trina, oh my gosh. I try to get people to hear her voice. I love it. All of them can blow, including their brother. I truly wish would do a gospel album and one phenominal R&B album. Everyone can have a solo. There could be duets with whomevers voice compliment each other, IE. Trina and Tamar. I think Toni, Towanda, and Trina together would kill a song.

Traci have a nice voice but I still think that she needs more training and she's better as a background singer. Trina on the other hand can sing her tail off but she needs to stop tryna be the black Britney Spears cuz pop music is not for her.

She definitely does. I know they don't compare at all. But she reminds me of Ciara with her singing. She seems to have some shyness/insecurity with her voice, so she doesn't really sing to her full potentional. Towanda has a great voice! I don't think she cares to be a singer really. Traci has a great Aretha thing going on. I think her only shortcoming is she has stage fright issues she's not fessing up to. She can hang but she's still just rusty she needs to get back into the game even more to catch up. She can do it tho. Now TRINA, mmm girl got SOUL! She actually has a fantastic natural command of her voice its too bad she wants to do pop she's a much better R&B singer than anything, FDA named. But Tamar is my absolute favorite voice of the 5.
