Colourpop Hi Society is one of my main travel ones too! In fact, most of the ones in that collection are. Also, the mini bambi flower palette. Perfection. 👌🏻

The astrology series quads were SO GOOD and I wish I had snagged more than 3 of them before the others I liked the color stories of disappeared! I have a "quad" (it's one of those bricks were the shades are all in one pan) from Victoria Beckham Beauty that is SUPER basic but perfect for when I need a "toned down" look for like on-site client work. But as far as quints go I LOVE the Kaleidos tri-fold ones (like Astro Pink and Lunar Lavendar); I wish they would come out with more of those! I also really like the two LH Cosmetics quads I have with her green metallics 😍 she had those out WELL before people remembered how iconic a green shimmer or metallic is
Viseart Paris Etoile is my travel go-to. It's a complete edit and easy elegance, IMHO.
My favourite minis:

-WnW camo-flaunt really worthy half cool toned/half warmer and 1 pressed glitter in middle (actually looks look very pretty with just a hint of it)

I also always bring smaller pallettes on my travels. I've just got back from a trip where I'd packed my Huda Beauty Wild Jaguar palette (it's my default) plus two of the Essence 6-pans (green&mauve) and the Viseart quad in Lilas. Viseart's quads and 8-pans are my absolute favourite to travel with because they are tiny and lightweight and thanks to their packaging, they don't shatter easily. I'm a bit apprehensive about my ND or CP 5 pans, it just feels like it'd be easy to damage them in transit.

The Natasha Denona Baby Biba 3-pan is a fav for me. I like my quad from Pat McGrath in Deep Space Divinity. I also own a Catrice 5-in a Box Mini in Modern Smokey Look that I'm looking forward to trying out for the blue shade. 😊

I remember you used to always like the smaller palettes. Now I do too, not enough space. Viseart has great all matte small palettes that I use for travel.Juvia's Place Army and Honey palettes are great. Fun video!
I'm not a small pallet kind of person, and I dont travel much, but when I do, i love having a pallet with a mirror. my ideal pallet is 50/50 matte/shimmer split, lots of tonal range from light to dark and probably about 9-15 shades is my sweet spot. As for colour I love dusty rose, greys, blues, cool toned browns, silvers.

I just loooove Natasha’s mini palettes! I have them all and I always bring at least 2-3 with me when I travel. I also love her big 5 pan because I can create my own palette out of big ones.
She so needs to sell empty 5 pan midi palettes so we can make custom ones in midi size…

My favourite minis are the Mini Tasty avocado it has some great sparkly greens. Also really like the iheart Rev donut palette Custard dobut for burgundy and orange shimmers.
I travel with Dose of Colours Mauve palette with 5 shadows in it and Natasha Denona the green mini one with one gold in the middle. With those I usually have some super shock singles from ColourPop to add some shine if needed. When I travel, most of the days I am bare faced but for the few nights out, these are the perfect ones for me.
I would say ND Mini Zendo is my most used mini palette with the il makiage Make Moves quad being a close second. I liked this because the choices were actually surprising! Not the same content/palettes over and over. Nice!

Love the mini Xenon for travel and use it on its own. Would prefer the silver in the middle to be metallic rather than glitter but that’s it
I know what you mean about the Viseart quads being slightly uninspiring colour stories- I’ve been hovering over them for ages but finally pulled the trigger on the green one and I think I’m going to love it 😍

Watched this video thinking it won’t inspire me because I have a thing for bigger palettes but now I’m so inspired to use my colourpop quads, I bought a bunch on sale
I always travel with my auric smoke reflect. There’s only 2 shadows but it’s so compact and easy. I also have a kaja trio in glowing guava that travels a lot. Besides those I don’t own many mini palettes (Oden’s Urd is the only one), so I usually will take one of my 9-12 pan Colourpop palettes because they’re pretty thin and lightweight even though they’re not technically “mini”
I love small pallettes! I have 2 small ones that I always have in my makeup bag. Angie, have you seen that BH Cosmetics came out with several 4 and 6 pan pallettes. I wonder if it's the same quality as before?
She and Heather collabed a while back on the new bh releases.

The Nars Hibiscus palette is also incredibly small and has a nice variety, too. It´s one colour theme, but its from light to dark and again, so friggin small^^

ViseArt petite palettes are amazing! They’re the smallest pallet I own. I’m a matte girl too so I don’t mind that the shimmers are low impact. For traveling, I pair it with custom quad.

I looove ND mini xenon, I also had travel with the mini gold, it is the peeerfect combination in my opinion to the urd from Oden's eyes. The new CT Pillowtalk dreams is going to be added to my lst bc I really love it, it is hard for me to not use it everytime it is my only CT palette but I think is amazin, highly recommended !
Love the Strawberry Sweet and Crystal Aquarius (both on clearance) the most for colour pop quads. 😍

I agree I have almost every 9pan monochromatic palettes from Colourpop cuz they’re so travel friendly and I think in general when it comes to neutral palettes I don’t like 15-30 pan palettes cuz they all end up looking the same on the eyes so I think smaller palettes are much nicer to have but I also have bigger palettes but then it’s mainly colorful palettes and they’re all from beauty bay since the quality is good and very affordable as well and when it comes to high end brands I don’t justify spending that much money on neutral palettes especially since every drugstore brand can deliver decent neutral palettes so I’m sticking to drugstore but I do justify colorful eyeshadows to be more expensive since colors are very hard to made especially purples, blues & yellows
i’m in college and i go to school across the country from my hometown (nashville to nyc)! it’s super hard to find quality, COLORFUL palettes that are tiny! that being said, i very much appreciate this video :))

The CT all matte small 6 pan pallet! That’s my HG! The small Essence 6 pan in Rose. Naked Sin mini. Elf bite size love you a latte. I’ve gone through 3 of the color pop sorbet quad bc the metallic keeps busting but after watching this video I think I need to try a different line from them. I just received the ND Jubilee 5 pan and am actually really impressed with it, especially the deep navy.
I don't have any small palettes, but my fave of my smallest palettes are the Huda pink neon and the BH april birthstone
Technic smokey pallette would be your perfect companion pallette then it's £2.50 on Amazon at the moment they do a matte one and a shimmer one but it's all matte 6 shades from black to white has a charcoal grey light grey black and white in both pallette and the quality is unreal you would pay way more than they are at that price try it see what you think people few years back were buying both as a dupe for the cremation pallette by J s and really happy with the quality of it
Once I traveled with a Melt palette, oh boy they are heavy. :D ND mini palettes are soo convenient for travels, I find Nabla Cuties easy to travel with too. They are a bit bulkier than a normal small palette but very sturdy. Don't have anything smaller than a Colourpop 9 pan, but they are not too bad to travel with too.

I wish Colourpop would bring back those matte quads they did. I have one called Bare Necessities and I love it. Colourpop mattes are great for the price. As for Viseart I agree. I have 2 of their original quads. I got the brown one Praline as a basic neutral for travel and then the Lilas which I totally love. Every time they come out with new quads I get excited but after looking at the color stories I'm not that impressed. The essence 6 pans are great to travel with too. I wish they would come out with some more of those. These days I'd rather take out 2 or 3 mini palettes to create a look than a whole big one that takes up all my vanity space.
My favorites for traveling are the mini palettes from Tammy Tanuka! The quality is excellent, and they're incredibly compact. Not all color stories are completely independent, though. Some only have accent shades, some lean monochromatic. But they are magnetic, so I switch the shades around and create custom color stories!
Oh yes, they are amazing! So so tiny and easy to pack. The ones I have also all tend to have some interesting, shifty shades so they are good for when you want to do something a little bit extra as well.

I love quads and minis for travel! I am rebuilding my palette collection after throwing out all old and unused palettes, and quads are on my list to purchase. I was going to pickup the new BH quads but the reviews are not good😢. Thank you for the reviews and inspiration 💕

I usually keep my makeup pretty simple, since I usually did outdoorsy stuff, hiking, rafting. I bring a basic quad (at the moment kaleidos quad cold brew) and one or two others to spice it up. I have the viseart mini random and mint quad from juvia place. I'll mix it up through, I have more small palettes than big ones.

I liked seeing the smaller palettes that you enjoy. Small palettes are great for days when I don’t want to have to put as much thought into eye makeup. That Viseart mini palette is gorgeous! I enjoy the Libra quad by Colourpop, and the Bronzed This Way and My Rose Will Go On 6 pan palettes by Essence. The My Rose Will Go On is very light though, so it would probably mostly work for paler and light skin tones.
Favourite small palettes are The 9 pan Huda Beauty Coral Obsession (drools 😆) so many Coral and orange, and a Matte yellow. Also Colourpop quint in High Society, the Quads Acai You and the Mango one I keep forgetting Mango what? LOL Tarte Tateist Pro mini, Zoeva mini Cocoa (Cacao in French) Blend, one Hello Kitty collab from ColourPop in 2022. Natasha Denona in Peak, Ayana, Cranberry,. Think I am done. My Oden's eye order came in just before I started watching this video. It includes the Urd Palette and when you mentioned it I already had the dark shade Past on my eye😂 so beautiful, I was love eyeing that palette for a while💕
My favorite mini palettes are the Natasha Denona Mini Nude, the Colourpop quad in shade Sorbe and Charlotte Tilbury quad in shade Exaggereyes. Always take them with me when I travel.
I could not agree more with you about the colourpop quads. I couldn’t tell you how many I have, but out of all of them tb e only ones I don’t care for are 2 of the animal crossing ones. Everything else I thought performed beautiful. I haven’t bought the ones they launched at Ulta earlier this summer but as soon as they go on sale I will. They are lovely. Don’t know if that’s your thing, but the viseart pans in the etendu and the quads series fit those colourpop 5pan palettes, as well as the Clionadh dragon fruit to my surprise. Maybe you can find a black you like and replace that dark brown on the starlet palette. 😘
I rearranged some of my colourpop nine pans and OMG, I loved them before now I have my perfect travel companions. I mixed thats taupe, making mauves and its my pleasure for a neutral- cool purple sort of a deal and then a very colourful pastel one with deep blues and greens 😍 Have been dying to try the quads from colourpop tho👀
I always take mini palettes from Lorac, Tarte and Colourpop when traveling. Also Natasha mini nude and Zendo have been also a staple while traveling. I tend to prefer packing my less expensive ones especially if I am going on a tough trip. Elf mini bite size come in handy as well if you are going camping :)

I recently bought the Mini Xenon. I've neglected most of it so far but that bone-coloured matte is the PERFECT inner corner for me!
Oh, please play with it! I was surprised at how much variation I could get out of it. I wore it to meet a friend who laughs at me for liking grey clothes (because she thinks grey is ‘boring’) and she immediately admired my ‘beautiful eyeshadow’… 😆

I love my color pop quads and denona 5 pans
I like the Mini Retro so much. I could go from day to night just with just that palette and be happy. Although I have to say that I brought it in my last trip and when I went to use it I found the lid was broken, even though I keep it in the box. That was disappointing. But I really enjoyed using the eyeshadows in spite of everything.
I really like the Natasha Denona 5 pans, the colourpop quads (bought by your recommendation) and the viseart small palettes. I travel with Natasha Denona and Colourpop but not the viseart because the shimmers can be quite soft and I have had some shadow-casualties.
Love your videos, so many great make up reviews. A great pallet of mixed nudes, bold colour, with mattes, inner corner highlight and a black, is SOSU collaboration with Aideen Kate its a medium size pallet but my go too travel companion.
I'm Obsessed with the colourpop quads. The only reason i don't have six million of them is that the shipping to the UK so so expensive :')
I have about 10 quads from colourpop and i love them except for two of them: i hate the Star fruity one, i thought i would love it but the peachy Brown with sparkles is not very flattering on me and is darker than it seems in the pan, i thought it would be a light inner corner shadow for me but it's muddy. I thought it was a shimmer but it's not really a shimmer but not a matte with sparkles either (it's a really weird shadow in My opinion) Also the army dark green is muddy, patchy, hard to blend and muddy on me.
In the ice cream collection there is a turquoise and neutral that i love but the yellow and fuchsia one is a meh for me, i don't like that yellow, it's not pigmented enough.
I think my favourite quad in my collection it's the tender loving cancer, it goes from very light to very dark in a lavender neutral palette with a duochrome. Although the selection for the zodiacal signs we're weird, i don't care about this issue, i'm not into that, but My zodiacal sign usually has purples and sagittarius didn't have any of them. So I chose one cancer wich is lilac and one libra that is pink because i love that colourstories

You might want to check out Colour Pop's Brooklyn Nets palette. Might not be small enough to be a mini but might work as your companion palette...
Pretty eye look! 😍 I'm not usually a fan of a mini palette. I like variety and I'm very indecusive.🤣 You converted me to smaller palettes with the Nabla cutie palettes, and I have some mini Natasha's, but I still pack too much makeup 🙈 can't help myself. Xo

I did an all matte look today and it was so hard not to put a splash of shimmer on my inner corner!!!! Looked so good though (Futurism Turquoise one).
I love shimmer but there's something sooo elevated about a well-blended all matte look 🤩
UGH angie damn you!!! i wanted the hey hollywood palette from the moment it was announced (like you a matte white is very important to me, and altitude from lethal is my go-to one and done every day shade so you can imagine how much use i'd get from that middle shade...) but a few days ago i finally talked myself out of it... now you've made me want it all over again XD ah fuck it, if it's still in stock the next time i order...
The e.l.f quads are a nice palette to travel with as it is cheap and you won't cry when the palette is broken. The downside is that you need to put it in a small zipper bag so it won't make a mess in your makeup bag.
Did you know that the Mikayla x Glamlite collection is at CVS (at least online)? Color me shocked! I snagged the smaller pallette.

surprised you didn't mention the new Midnight Voyage from PMG ... not a fan of her shadows but this mini with 6 shades and a mirror did me in and have traveled with it as well as just using when in a rush as it's excellent
Elf has a bite sized pallette that is an AWESOME companion pallette and it's all matte 💙 I think it's called "love you a latte" bite size, it has 4 neutral matte shades, I really hope you see this and check it out... love you and all your content!!! 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
