This is so exciting. I feel that in the beginning it takes courage to allow the instinct and the subconscious to have freedom to be what they want to be. It is so tempting at times to force oneself upon a character. We can have preconceived ideas about what a character would do or say and how they would do or say it. Or we have drama tutors or directors or even fellow actors tell us that a scene should be played with their notion of how the character would play something and that we are wrong. The freedom that the Demidov techniques allows us to have is deliciously liberating. More more more. ❤
