The kyoshin hero does look broken at first because of the big move set, but when you look at the damage numbers and the ways that a all guard can be countered, he is not broken. He is more balanced than broken
So we got Apollyon, Holden Cross and now Tozen so far this seems that devs wanna add the story characters in some way (this hero kinda confirms that tozen wasnt an orochi)

Death by a thousand cuts. The ability to stack bleed will increase his DPS considerably. Have to wait and see how he is. Looks like a really fun hero though.
That makes me fear for his duel viability. in 4's once he gets that first feat he's "complete", he has the damage to go along with the versatility. But in duels he'll just have to be constantly chipping away with little room for error.

Hero looks great, moveset and fashion wise while seeming balanced. But the only thing I can’t get behind is the 4th feat, I can just see it being combo’d with warmongers 4th feat.
It would only guarantee like 2 ticks max, what would really be a good combo is fire flask or spear storm. Hell, even fury flask if you wanna go really overkill.
The fourth feat is obviously supposed to be as strong and as useful as oathbreaker. I like that. In general, I think they orientated a lot on bp‘s capabilities and tried to reinvent them. Really cool so far.

I think the biggest damage i saw was 33 for the full block into top heavy, so I'm worried this might be a pk situation where he takes too long to kill his opponents

On a real note I think at first he seemed like zhanhu on release, just sort of mediocre for the sake of balance, now I think of him as more of another Shaolin. As in someone who requires a lot of effort and his combat style is flashy but has such an unrewarding kit in terms of damage and efficiency. Basically a needlessly complicated kit for what he can do. As you've mentioned bashes and unblockables are going to go right through him, all his stance is going to catch are those who rely on chains and/or dodge attacks.
I hope ubi wont ruin this hero for the sake of the community simply not wanting to adapt. Hes not as bad, look at his damage rates lmao Criticising the people in the future if they happen to complain

The fact they're saying he's some kind of a priest, reminds me of how Black Prior is supposed to be some kind of a dark zealot. So I think that would make the Kyoshin the black priors of the Samurai.

I think the hero will be awesome in group fights, but I think in a 1vs1 you'll need much skill to master this char. The 4th feat will be awesome ... Kyoshin does Feat4 ... another group member drops the catapult or the arrows!
He doesn't seem broken or amazingly strong offensively, but it seems decent at least. His defensiveness seems kinda niche, considering that it doesnt defend against UBs or bashes like BPs does. But we do know having a counter whenever on Aramusha is nice, so most likely it will be nice on him as well just with less damage.

I haven’t played in awhile but superior block was one of my favorite things it even got me to play Highlander and it stepped up my black prior from terrible to actually decent aswell as made my main warlord go from good to a monster when I’m really on, I can’t wait to play this character and see what I can do and love to see faraam do his thing with it, can’t wait to get back to the game this will revive that fire to wanna play again, I’ll have to step away from assassins creed now lol

You can chain multiple feats. Catapult, Warmommy t4, HL spears, arrows, Fire flask, nades, free heavies, free gb/throws

Would be interesting if they’d made it so he could cc a unblockable. Also he’s got fairly high stamina consumption if he wants to keep pressure
