I think it’s meant to symbolize something deeper than what meets the eye- I personally think that it’s supposed to symbolize the calm before the storm.

I like how the new The Last Hope cover kinda mimics the old one. It makes it recognizable to fans and draws people that haven’t read a Warriors book to it. It is maybe the best designed cover of the new ones.

It’s so people can see their beautiful eyes in more detail and everything in more detail
I feel that ONE on their own would've been fine. Each has a little redeeming bits, but together they suck.

Dawn: Subtle use of color
Starlight: Linework and color usage (I haaate this cover though--is she holding her breath? Watching a tense sports match?)
Twilight: nothing (This is a very baaaaaaaad cover. Wooden expression, an unappealing yellow mist, odd emphasis on the nose, I could go on)
Sunset: everything works here I believe. Should've kept this and maybe Dawn.

I do like how in the new long shadows cover there is a glint of red and orange of the side of Ash’fur’s fur. Hunting at a fire kind of like the first page.
a part of me has too much nostalgia for the first firestars quest cover, in fact if it wasnt for firestar being weirdly chonky i wouldnt have seen the book so high up on my teachers shelf in school and asked to read it. lots of love for that book (i actually still have it, its a first edition and i treat it like gold)
I'm polish but I bought the UK relase because I love those original retro covers from first and second arc, they always give me this strange nostalgia and chill. I really support Nowa Baśń thought, we waited so long for warriors to be relased in poland that even now when we arleady have 3 arcs it feels like dream come true x'D

I was reading dawn of clans and skipped some books and started reading vision of shadows. But I'm still going to finish dawn of the clans. Then I might read all the special editions and then the new series.
I started the series when Vision of shadows ended and i am totally caught up now. But i could get the books faster bc they were like 6,99 euros or something. Thats the good thing about ereaders

When I was still a slow reader, and starting out in Into the Wild, i had seen the old Long Shadow’s cover in 3rd grade. I had heard about Sol, and knew he was “a tortoise-shell with white splotches” or what ever, (I am away from my The Prophecy Begins-Omen of the Stars books) and thought it was about Sol. When I read the book with the new cover, it never crossed my mind that it used to have Sol, because I knew that Ashfur was one of the antagonists in that book.
But, giving the Erins the benefit of the doubt, maybe they wanted a twist. Unless you’re like me and just know a lot of spoilers, it could of tricked some people.

I got the old Firestar’s quest from Coles before it got the new cover, and BAM, two days later the old cover one was gone and the new cover was set in. Wow.
I didn’t even know that the super edition books had second covers on them! The library where I used to check out those books, always had the paper covers taped to the book, so I never saw those illustrations underneath. I just recently bought Brambleclaw’s Storm, and thought the illustrations were just a new thing they were doing!
I can’t tell if this is the best or worst reason to learn Polish. just to buy and read these books XD

My personal favourite book cover is Yellowfang's Secret (without the dust jacket). I don't even really like the book, but the colours and artwork of this cover is just so pretty!
