The fact haibara and sera, akai (subaru the glasses pink hair guy) are actually cousins. Haibara's mother and sera's mother Mary are sisters. And yet they don't know. Even Conan find that haibara's eyes kind of gives akai and sera's vibes

@@officialfash-ys5xt I don't remember but it was when mary was introduced where we can see flashback of Mary waiting for her husband and her husband reaches to the place but to her surprise it was actually vermouth. She then pulls Mary and.....uh kisses her through that kiss Vermouth transfers the aptx from her mouth to Mary's then vermouth says that this pill was created by her sister (at that time haibara's parents were still alive and they were working on aptx and silver bullet) and in one episode haibara uses eyeliner and Conan looks at her snd he gets shocked that her eyes exactly looked like akai and sera's eyes.

Wait what? Do you mean that her brothers figured out Haibara's identity? Bc Akai didn't figure out Conan's identity instantly, and I don't think that Shukichi knows his identity either, unless I missed that episode. Are you talking about Haibara? Masumi figured it out pretty quickly. After seeing Shiho and asking Ran and Sonoko a few questions, she tracked Haibara down pretty fast.
Bro, you do know that's not her job to figure it out. She born without a father and Mary tryna keep sera out of the problem with fbi, black organisation and others. To begin with, it's not her problem to figure this all out lol. Her only problem is to find her brother. Figuring who's conan is more like her mom problem. Plus, i dont even think Mary tell sera that haibara is her cousin too. You can tell sera always distract when she saw or think that was her brother.
@@shiranails0137Pretty sure that ain't her only goal, she was also tasked to find the antidote, which failed miserably. Mary should know Haibara due to a manga chapter glimpse that Vermouth explicitly told her who in her family tree made APTX, though seeing how she act when hearing there's actually antidote and not knowing who the scientist is, I say she doesn't have any clue on Haibara at all.
I would say that it is part of her problem, it's a family problem, like how Yusaku and Yukiko occasionally help Kudo on BO problem after knowing he got shrunk down, but here is in reverse, since it's Mary got shrunk. Also I believed Sera got a crush on Kudo after he was able to make Akai, her brother, laugh. So she wanted conan to remember that incident, and after the incident that both her and her mom saw on the TV in London, she knew that Conan is Kudo basically. And knowing her mother got shrunk down, the pieces are matched, that it would be impossible for conan to travel overseas without turning back to Kudo, meaning there's antidote.
Note that Mary doesn't necessary need passport to travel, she is a MI6 agent, and in movie 24 she is seen in private vehicle with additional agents. While the movies were tend to be noncanon to the main timeline, this can still act as evidence that at least in this universe, passports aren't needed necessary to travel as MI6 agents...There can be x-ray proof suitcases or teenagers having more knowledge than a trained officer afterall.
Sera got distract when she saw/thought was her brother, because she haven't seen him for a long time as he joined FBI and presumably not return home for a while, and perhaps don't know whether he is still alive or not. Anyone would act suspicious on someone who seems to know you well, while you can't figure out who that person may be.

In an interview, Gosho said that MI6 made a fake passport for her so that she could travel after she got shrunk. It makes no sense to say that MI6 agents don't need passports. She used her passport before she got shrunk, and used the fake passport they gave her after she shrunk.
As for Shuichi, Sera thinks that he's dead. That's been shown/said numerous times, especially recently when Masumi tried to expose Haibara.
As for the antidote, Masumi isn't failing miserably to get the antidote. Getting an antidote for a drug that reverses the poison is not easy by any means. She was tasked with getting close to them first; she can't just show up and ask for it or go snooping around. She'll hit a thousand obstacles if she does it that way. She had to get close to them so she could investigate first, and that takes time.
She's done well so far, and as I said in my first comment, she deduced pretty quickly that Haibara shrunk and had the antidote. Then she identified Haibara and found her whereabouts quickly by asking just one question. She also succeeded in her plan to trap Conan...she actually did it quite brilliantly imo, but Conan straight up told her that he didn't bring the antidote while Mary was watching Masumi search Conan's bag for it.
Masumi actually tried to tell Conan directly what was going on, and get the antidote, but Conan ruined it by bringing Ran and Sonoko along.
Masumi has a lot on her shoulders, but she's handling everything really well. I don't think it's fair to say that she's failing miserably.
@@muigogitoultrasonic3947Mary probably know Haibara is Shiho and also her niece but she probably didn't tell much to Sera, other than saying Shiho is a shrunken person.
Also, I said "to begin with" since Mary tryna keep Sera out of the mess and BO situation (even vermouth didn't know Mary has daughter) not until Mary need to lay low where Sera need to come in and help her with the problem. At the same time I don't think Sera know how dangerous is BO.
At first, I don't think Mary know that Shiho contribute to the creation of APTX 4869 since Vermouth said "your sister's creation". Not until that vase episode show a reflection of Haibara on professor eyeglasses. Mary probably figure out that if Shiho being shrunk, she must has connection to the BO (that's why Sera delete the picture, to avoid any more problem for Shiho) and to make sense Shiho is the only one left that know about Elena Miyano works. Then there's episode where Sera saw Shiho saving the kids indicate, that Shiho probably has an antidote that can help Mary turn back to normal.
There's still a missing stories about their families.
