  • Part Two of our DIY interior for the budget 1957 Chevy 210 project. This week we attempt to make a headliner on the cheap as well as some DIY windlace to trim out the door openings. Stay tuned for Part Three where we completely rebuild both front and rear seats. #1957chevy #57chevy #trifive #bornfreebuilds

Just bought a great 54 two-ten that needs a headliner and window lace. This is extremely helpful. Thank you!

Done the upholstery from previous seat patterns, but the headliner I went with pre made. Great videos.

Can you do a video about your sewing machine? You do some great work!

I briefly touched on it in Part 1 of the interior. It is a Singer 401a manufactured in the 1950/60s. Nothing too special about it other than a good, heavy duty machine from days past.

How well does the hot glue hold up when the car heats up in the sun?

It often softens up and loses its hold. However, it’s very handy to “temporarily” lock something into place until you get trim, etc up that will do the rest of the work
