Good job. I'm about to do the same. Glad to see you didn't need a industial sewing machine

$75 estate sale find, came with many accessories. Singer 401a. Works great for what I’ve needed it for so far!

I'm enjoying watching this. I'll be doing something along these lines soon.
I like how you're keeping an eye out for things that could cause problems
if not taken into account. I'd think a 'top stitch' along the seam that doesn't
have the ss strip. ok, back to the video - thanks.

Another great video! Couldn't help but notice the piece of lint flying around. Had to do a double take. 28:51

Interior is coming out nice. I was thinking of doing my own too but got a bit nervous. This has helped me a lot. Keep up the great work my friend. You're coming into the home stretch.

I don't comment much but I have been following this build since the beginning. I have been so impressed with your work and without spending gobs of money that most of us don't have. This is going to be a sweet driver. Can't wait for your next project. Great job!

Very nice job. I did this a similar way with Masonite and a square patter with buttons, This was my first car a 56 Chevy 150 when I was 16. I have that same staple gun. What size stapes are you using? I need to do the interior in my 1966 Chevelle and after seeing your video I may do something similar to your. I am so impressed with how much quality work that you have gotten done in short amount of time. Keep it up. You are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

Did you continue to use the same length staples when you switched to the thinner hardy board?

Yes! I just shot them at an angle to prevent them from sticking through.

Are using a regular home sewing machine or a commercial upholstery machine?
