@manic hispanic it's more about the importance of a differing narrative than me switching trust from one side to another.
Before it was like I just followed the sheep without any thought that maybe these people didn't know what they were talking about. Now I'm exposed to more than one side. Not saying I follow Kenna over others, but that I realize that natural remedies can actually be harmful and I should look into new things more before trying them and take a look at PubMed

I think I would trust her information and research a little more than Tati who is looking to make a profit and when Halo Beauty launched there was a scandal over the "clinical studies" data and images used on her site.

She didn't go into the forms of vitamins and I was pretty disappointed. As a lay person who knows a bit about forms and cofactors manmade, synthetic vitamins often leave out...I was looking forward to this and cannot believe she promoted Centrum. :( I would caution that Glutathione is something you shouldn't take 365 bc your body makes its own. But it's like melatonin some people say a low dose is ok to use indefinitely. L Glutathione is probably the best form of it and maybe that is why they only put it 10 mg-to be able to take it long term without causing your body to become dependent and not make its own. (what is possible with long term use of melatonin) Sorry for my horrendous grammar, I have a baby on my knee.

Halo isn’t meant to be a multi vitamin, also it’s an indie brand with extremely strict production standards and testing standards. There is zero regulation in the supplement market so you have to be really careful. The cheap ones may be great and what they say, they also may be filler and bs 🤷🏻‍♀️

First, let me say that I REALLY love what you're doing with your channel, Kenna!!! I'm learning so much about the things that I'm discovering are important in my life, especially as I get older. Now... That being said, I'm not trying to be a troll or give you flack about anything you've said in this video, but Tati does say in her videos that all of her vitamins/supplements are designed to be taken with her other HALO beauty products and knowing that she was planning to add more products to her line, she took the dosages into consideration so that people wouldn't be getting too much of one thing or another if they were taking more than one of her products at the same time. Not sure if that makes (or should make) any difference in your opinion, but I just thought I'd point it out. Keep up the excellent work you're doing! What you're offering is much needed in the community and was definitely lacking before you came along. I'm so glad that I found your channel!! 🌺

Love that you were not in a hoodie! I live in them! But I feel like I wouldn’t come across as a reputable source promoting anything (other than adidas or puma wear!) in my athliesure wear. Not telling you what to do bc you’re the professional, but love that you looked so put together in this video, it made me take your info more seriously in a way. I know, I am always giving unsolicited advice! But love what you’re doing and wanted to give 2 cents! XO also- if I can suggest a video topic.. I love skincare and do a lot of research and buy a lot of products. There’s a lot of info out there on each product type, but there aren’t many videos or blog posts on how ppl incorporate a certain product into routine. For example, I do a 5-7 step routine, including AHA’s, BHA’s, HA’s, Retinoid, vitamin c, and peptides. I have planned all this out on a 7 day basis (same thing almost M, W, F; diff T,TH,SA) I rarely hear ppl talk about their regimen as a whole and how to appropriately place ingredients into skincare routine. Would LOVE to hear your opinion! XO 😘

If you take any medication or have acne, dermatitis etc I would check with either a pharmacist or your dermatologist first. From what I've seen in the reviews it is basic natural makeup geared towards teens and young adults, if you like full coverage or don't like cream formulas it might not be for you. Hope this helps!

Yes it’s not a one to one comparison. It’s meant to compliment a multi vitamin which is why there is less than the levels in a multi vitamin so you aren’t getting too much and just peeing it out.

She’s not comparing similar products because she wants people to know what a baseline is. If there are the same amounts of each vitamin then there is no difference in a daily multi vitamin and the halo product.

I think why theres a lot of success with Halo is simply because people dont eat balanced meals. I wish she would have 50% daily dosage ones, so I wouldnt need to worry about over using vitamins. I own all of her vitamins, none have done anything major for me. Early days on the newest one tho. And Kiwi makes me jumpy, anxious? Not completely convinced they arent just over priced.

I’m so glad you covered the safety around taking supplements . I don’t think everyone appreciates that you can actually overdose -they think if it’s natural/non prescription it must be safe in ANY dose. I have experience of nursing someone who wrecked their liver by overdosing on supplements, taking several different combined at the same time along with individual supplements . I think it’s also not common knowledge that some compounds will increase or decrease the efficacy of other compounds . In some ways it’s safer therefore for the lay person to take a researched supplement like cetrium as the science is done for you!

When this vitamin was released there was a lot of talk all over social media about the fact that saw palmetto can, and does interact with birth control, tati claims it "won't get you pregnant" ...which is a pretty big leap considering there is a warning on the label of saw palmetto - from the drugstore, which indicates differently.
