People hate on nitro but man, let me tell you when your rebuilding an rc from the ground up , and when you get everything back together when she fires up for the first time, and that feeling in your gut is not like anything else! Those late nights in the garage always are worth it! Gray video man!👍
I'm really debating getting a cheap used one to fix because I'm almost done rebuilding my revo 3.3. A T Maxx seems like a fun platform to mess with

I love electric rc’s, but I’ll always be a sucker for that Nitro sound and experience
It’s like the V8 sound compared to a 4 cylinder or a hybrid
Traxxas got famous because of the Tmaxx
I hope they take a chance and do a tribute reboot to the mighty TMaxx one last time

Truck sounds great!! Just got my first nitro up and running
$160 RTR for a T-Maxx 3.3 is a good deal, RTR T-Maxx 3.3 normally go for more than $300 on Ebay.
I just found ur video... I've had a 2.5 tmaxx just sitting for probably 6 years, ran great when I parked it, been thinking about selling it but now I wanna get it running again! Lol
I blew my 3.3 tmax up over 10 years ago, so i picked up a cheap 2.5 motor for 100 bucks and she runs mint now

I just rebuilt a 99 lol!! Just have to mount the engine and gas tank. Did the 2.4 radio too, 2075, and a 25kg for steering. 6v hump battery. Lipo sounds better. Awesome!

Upgraded my tmaxx to a HV lipo receiver and "glitched" mine too, pretty sure traxxas servos don't like to sit and then over clocked lmao
I got a brand new tmaxx 2.5 and I have had to warranty 2 transmissions. I think the fact it has forward and reverse that's causing transmission issues

The gas powered RC pick up if you shut off the controller would it shut off the engine or yes or no just wondering on nitro gas cars and Pickups
Which brand of fuel you use? I use VP racing Master basher 14 percent oil 20 percent nitro.

Hello awesome channel I have 4 nitro trucks 2 are T-Max I just did what you done to one of my T-Max its is the 3.3 motor. Been trying to find someone that can give me some info on the fuel settings. To set the fuel adjust setting to start out at. Hope you can help me with this.The other one is a older one it has the 2.5 motor on it. It's like new never run much at all.

I don’t normally comment. That being said, I have a question. Would it help to replace the igniter lead with a heavier gauge? Like from an electric motor power lead?

Does it have the reverse trans? I have one of those, they came with the 3.3 but had reverse, the 4909
Super Aiden Link productions this one had reverse. I changed it to forward only though

can you do a video about how to break in a nitro engine? just got a new revo 3.3 and ive read pretty much everywhere that using the traxxas method is a deathwish. really dont want to blow up my new truck. my first nitro as well, obviously.
