I want to purchase this bike, but I'm waiting for a version of the Lectric XPress that gives me an option of choosing upgrades. Give us an option for an upgraded version of the XPress, Letric. We want the upgraded parts: derailleur, fenders, suspension, etc., but we would like to have them direct from the factory, and avoid the higher cost of paying a bike shop to swap out the parts.

  • @tenncutt

We have a couple XPremiums which are mid drive with torque sensors and 80 mm suspension. Not sure why they discontinued them. I was wondering if the would come out with another torque sensor bike. The XPremiums also have a throttle. They have been great bikes. Our XPremiums flash the taillight when you apply brakes but the lighting front and rear is SO weak on ALL Lectrics! I also have a Fucare that has wonderful bright lights with a bright brake light that works regardless if the lights are on. The XPremiums also have dual 10ah batteries and will go further than you want to go!

I don't think the light is all that bad. only that mine came mounted off centered and after attempted to take it off and adjust it, it was just bent so I rebent it... Altus or better would for sure be a nice upgrade. The 999 is ofc the 500w and even the 750 doesn't come with fenders and rack... the package claims the rack can only hold 30 pounds??? I'll wait and see if they don't add a better deal later like they just did with the Xpeak

Looks like a great bike, but why would you make a commuter bike in 2024 and not have a working brake light? The whole point of a commuter is you're going to be sharing space with traffic and other cyclists on bike paths. Commuters need that the most, IMO. Come on Lectric, it's one wire.

Having customer service in the Philippines does not mean there is a language barrier. maybe a cultural barrier but certainly not a language barrier. Over 60% of all customer service for American B2C firms is based out of the Philippines and that's been true since the early nineties when India based support was becoming a nuisance due to hard accents.

Im looking for a commuter bike to save money with the price of gas and insurance. Get rid of one of our cars and use this for commuting to work. Im completely new to ebikes. Any recomendations? I care mostly about battery longevity and it doesnt need to be top power but a decent amount. I live in a city of 200k people so its not like a big city with grid lock but roads are busy enough.
