The latest project is a Lexus LS430 that we bought from an exercise enthusiast who also builds drift cars for a living. This thing is going to be wild for track days.
I'm not a drifter but that's a pretty slick ride. I'd rock it as is, with heated rear seats and all. How cool would it be to take your friends to "Mexico" for a little winter drift on the snowy streets, in heated comfort? Would love to know more about the swap: what kind of bellhousing adapter was used etc. Having done 2 manual swaps now, it can sometimes be a huge upgrade, and sometimes it can ruin the comfort of the car. Seems like this car is pretty comfortable so wouldn't want to ruin it.
I find it hilarious that, as im looking at a video of a car that im interested in (as a next buy too) I see a car which i actually own (Smart Roadster).
The "fog light" button is the heated headlight washers. Looks like you have the Custom Luxury package, you should see the Ultra Luxury. I'd love to learn more details about the Torsen type Supra LSD...like part numbers? Is it the pumpkin only or is the whole rear end swapped in? The Lexus forums have lots of confusing info that often contradicts each other. I think it is supposed to be from an AT 5 speed Supra maybe? Lots of LS owners would love to see a video on that.
Doing a Ls430 manual swap at the moment using the PMC j160 kit, Like to know a bit more how this car was made i know you said zfm3box, how was the clutch pedal done? always interesting to see how people get round that stuff !
@vPerformance should be able to get it down to about 13/1400 then if you strip everything out without taking away power windows etc. That's 250/tonne thats better power to weight ratio than a stripped out e46 with the 3.0 It'll be quick for a boat. Just need a lock kit n a cheater stick n you'll be sound!!! Hopefully see you at driftland sometime !!

You should cut out the inner door skins and boot floor where the spare would go and replace it with a large metal sheet
We tried that in the driftbaru but it was very floppy. I wonder if we could get some sort of slightly folded sheet so it's stronger.

Yeah we'll definitely get a hydro installed once the interior is stripped. Likely we'll put the light sparcos in from the driftbaru also
