Hey! Thanks for being here!!
I have one & love it no problems for 2 years now
Do u have any problems with the string feeding?
I’m a new homeowner and just recently purchased one of these and was happy to hear an honest review and also that I didn’t waste my money! I’ll be using your exact starting instructions too
I followed his instructions and mine won’t start
Just got one today.330 wanted how to start it. Thank you.
Thanks Nate! Excellent video! Sometimes the simple stuff is most important. In this case, the starting procedure for Husqvarna. I'm sure a lot of people never get this figured out. Like you, I'm out working every day, it's good to see your professionalism!
Glad it was helpful!
Bought this model a month ago and love it. Looking forward to the follow up review 👍
I recently purchased that very same weed wacker! And I love it! It’s very powerful and the cord is super strong and lasts! Great Buy!
good video my man! Keep up the good work. i'm getting one of these.. my old one just died.....
I run 2 535LK's, and they fantastic machines! Extremely reliable, tough as old boots, and the power to do almost everything! Use Stihl and Husqvarna equipment, both are top brands, but for me,Husqvarna has the edge!
What’s up my man. I agree. Some stihls are great but husky just does it for me. Maybe it’s because I’m from Maine and it’s all husky there
@NateVanceAdVancedLawnGardenLLC .Thankfully I have a great dealership, who import straight from Sweden. Wish we in the UK paid US prices though, everything here is extortionate!
13 years i used the 223L iam gettin this tomorrow 🤟
I like husqvarna I have a 330 LK weed eater/polesaw type deal and I love mine
Thanks for the review! I know it hasn’t been long but I hope it’s been doing well for you, I’m going to order one for my 3 acre property!
It’s great
Thanx brother. Great video
My old 322L is giving me problems and thinking of getting this one. Thanks for the review I’m really excited to get this one now
Great whip. Just use thin light string.
Don’t man I have it it works like a charm but doesn’t work with any attachments
Mine has been good. Nice video.
These machines are smooth and gets the job done...
They are good
Great video looking into getting it, too. How does it hold up? Upgrading from srm 225, I need a stronger string trimmer.
I bought a craftsman last year. Worked great last year this year used it once and the plastic crankcase melted. Into the cylinder. That's what the warranty repair shop told me. I noticed all the weed Wacker made today have bed reviews and just don't last. Before this one I had a 15.00 homelite I bought at a yard sale. The head was shit and the pull cord broke. I should have kept it and fixed it.
That’s exactly right!! It’s all about finding tools you like and that you find easiest to work on. I have saws from the 60s and 70s that still run well
How the hell did that kombi break bro I love them lol must've been really putting in work with her 😂 thanks for the video man really informative
The power head just fell off lol. I just hate the tuning system
I had the 128LD or a while and sold it in favor of the 223L. That was over ten years ago. The 223L is more powerful then the 128LD and possibly more powerful then that 330. Best part about the 223L was how light is it as well. The thing just runs perfectly and runs amazing. It won't die!
The 223 is only 25 cc and the 128 Ld and 330 are 28 cc 🤦🏻♂️
@@JoseRuiz-wo7ok the engine in the 223L is higher reving, has higher compression and more power. The 128L isnt as good it's heavier and a little less powerful.
Recommend using equipment defender racks with the motor mount so you want have that happened anymore
I run the Husky 525L. Light weight and has pretty good power. I was using Sthil Fs 90 and liked it and had plenty of power but didn't have the throttle control i was looking for.
True
So I see you mentioned that the 128ld is an "older style" home owner grade. Any suggestions for which model to get currently for a home owner who will not be using it for a lawn business?
There is a big difference between opinion and experience... and when you say that, husqvarna more powerful than the other major brands in my "experience" husqvarna have more power and that is one of the reasons why I like them. I know this not because I am a professional, but I own 4 husqvarna trimmers 128ld, 525lst mk2, 353fsr, and I have another on the way 525ldx. At my job we use shtil and to me they seem underpowered and too heavy even for the same class engine displacement. Now I personally own the husqvarnas and use them at my properties and ranch and to be honest when I cut with them they are very comfortable and balanced that after a while I took a break and I wanted to cut more! Not that I needed to, but with the 525lst shoulder straped in, I was going all day. And when I would let go the trimmer would balance on my shoulder strap a perfect foot off the ground every time so one day while working alone at my job I took my 525lst to cut a large area to just test if it can take the paces at my job and it did better than our Sthils wayy better so much I was wanting our angency to buy us husqvarna it was night and day but they can't so I am stuck with Sthils at work l
But, everyone has their own opinions based of their experience now husqvarna is sweedish and they are known for good accuracies and clocks but husqvarna makes many things as well such as motorcycles, bikes, sewing machines and rifles so,
In my opinion and experience husqvarnas are comfortable, powerful and light compared to most trimmers I've used
Well said my feiend
Thank you sir.
Most welcome
Was that stihl engine head loose before? My tools never break like that in the back of my truck. Also if u got landscaper or homeowner i still would say buy commercial either way
Thx man! super video) I just bought one, but unfortunately I can't attache the Brushcutter blade(( have you tried?)
Unfortunately not
i have a husqvarna 430LS 525 LST never have any problem
Thanks for the video, I recently purchased the 330lk and I would like to get the top end a little bit faster, it’s currently around 8000 rpm. None of my splined adjustment tools fit. Apparently I need a 20 tooth 5mm splined tool but it appears to be discontinued. Do you have a part# for the correct splined adjusting tool to fit this machine? Thanks again I appreciate it.
I just buy the packs off Amazon and lots of them fit. Not perfect but they work.
It’s a good piece of equipment. But my experience is a full shaft. Keep the attachment shaft for other items. It will spin on you.
25cc? I see a 28cc husq 330lknweedvwacker.
What 2 cycle do u use android u add gas to the same area as the oil.
Well you read the cover 6 times I do it on 4 or 3 and it starts fine
Echos are lower power and lower compression, tuned for longer life of reliability.
Nothing says weak and reliable like Echo.
Pretty new to this stuff: Saw you use 50:1, does that mean I cant use gas and oil seperately, need them to be mixed?
Yes. 2 stroke is most always mixed at 50:1 but I usually do 40:1 because I use them hard and tune them
Always mix 2 cycle oil, never straight gas the weedeater, it’ll ruin the piston & cylinder… I always mix at 40:1. A bit of extra 2 cycle oil won’t hurt… Too little can still ruin the piston & cylinder. I use 101 VP race fuel $9.99 per gallon. (Bit longer storage life than reg pump gas) Canned fuel is overpriced & some machines won’t run on it at all. All brands recommend 89 or higher octane. For oil I use the VP, Red Armor, or Amsoil Saber (never at 100:1) too risky after spending a few hundred on commercial tools.
Try Maruyama… Still made in Japan & light weight compared to most.
What is the exact name of the titanium string? Trying to purchase .
Titanium core by Husqvarna
Bro...I just bought one and it's like a Lamborghini or Farrarri....stihl is like a muscle car....
I’m going to do a follow up review because my thoughts have changed. Stay tuned
I followed your instructions but still can’t get it to start… any tips?
Hold throttle down while u pull the Fl lie choke lever up all the way.
After three pulls, push choke down and pull more
how does it works with the dethatcher
I haven’t tried it n it’s a good machine
👋
what is the fix for 330 LK thats keep heating up and stopping?
Get the carb adjusted tool and turn the high jet (right side) an 8th turn to the left.
@@AdvancedLawn Thanks, will definitely give that a try !
homeowner stuff is built in 3 countrys and not as good quality people that rush to put them together! commercial husky is japan and very good quality builders!!!!!
Why bring Goliath to the fight when you can just use David...awesom machine
Follow up review coming soon
Don't matter about what side shaft is kn the husqvarna is spline shadt the stihl is square
Looks like a Red Max a little bit 😮
Always wanted one
it's made by redmax
@@barbaraepsaro2718Redmax made by Husqvarna.
When it gets hot that piece of crap will be hell to start. I bought one this year and it cranks great cold. Once it’s hot it sucks
Remove spark are stir and fatten up the low and high jer
Promo*SM
I bought the same weed eater and I have had nothing but problems, it is a bi@ch to start, usually taking 5-15 min. And yes, I am using premixed gas/oil and following the start directions just as it states on the back and still problems !!! Every time
Buy commercial Husqvarna not that homeowner stuff
Not always the case, I've been using a 122HD60 for about 6 years, and it's an excellent machine for smaller shrubs and hedges! Obviously for the thicker stuff, I use the 522HDR75X!
@tgsgardenmaintenance4627 yeah not always I had a 122HD45 and loved it!
Mine has been a complete pos
Likewise. Was good for a bit
husqvarna 330LK is a POS! Very plastic. Choke sucks and pull lever pops out of the plastic trash track. It's very tempomental and difficult to start. Weak as hell. This is a pos.The pass through insert for the string will not work unless you manage to get the curved string very straight. Idles like shit. The head slowly twist as there's no lock in key but just a clamp style lock and it doesn't hold. Loud AF. This weedeater really sucks and I love to give good reviews. Husqvarna zero turn is good. Back pack blower is good but avoid this trimmer.
Agreed. After a few months iv learned to hate this thing
