Thanks. I have a few friends live at the top end of QLD. All say they have had enough of the wet. I keep telling them to send it my way. We need a lot more rain. The heavy cloud got lighter just over lunchtime. Filled the batteries fast. Now we have heavy cloud high winds but no more rain yet. Looks promising though.
Rain is Great for the environment and a properly setup system, like your, will just be fine!
Things work if you plan the system out. I have had many years to get this one sorted. I know what it takes to go off grid now.
I have just got home from work (6pm) and no rain what so ever in my rain gauge. We didn't even get any rain at work today in Midland. I don't even think Perth has got any rain either. I'm gonna have to go out and do the watering on my garden.

Just found your channel, will be traveling to Philippines this Oct 2024, I will build a concrete 2 x 3 meter shed for a 5kw a new 6 kw hybrid off grid inverter with 48v 280 lifpo4 battery and 10 - 500 watt Trina solar panels will put a 5000btu window a/c to keep battery and electronics cool, eventually will build a house on the farm. No grid power. I have a deepwell pump that I run with a 8kva diesel generator, hoping the solar system will be able to start the pump. Take care Jerry
Why not use a solar-powered 3 phase well pump. Not sure how much they are these days. Work well in remote deep bores in outback Australia. You may find better if you start looking. Much better than running a noisy generator to get your water.
@@JustinCaseSolarPower eventually, right now it’s not too bad about 20 min to fill 500 liter tank, every week.
