I have been running this setup for about 2 years now. Best mesh setup I've ever owned. Very reliable coverage and speed. I use the device profiles and times more than anything.
I’m sold. On my way to Best Buy now. Thank you!
Not a bad product! Great to see this product on your channel!!
Great review on this mesh system! I have this setup except i have multiple HD routers wired using ethernet backhaul, its excellent and has now replaced my ageing apple airport extreme AC routers. They look lovely too.
Thanks! The routers are definitely the way to go. I don’t know of any others that you’d actually sort of want out in the open lol
I just bought this on Amazon. I also ordered the Teleport too.
I also have a NETGEAR Orbi and Apple Airport Time Capsule and Extreme.
This is amazing - intrigued that it's better than the Google home mini
Thanks for watching!

One of the most important aspects of a mesh network is how well a device can have a consistent wifi signal as you move around your house. Unlike in a traditional multiple access point setup, where you lose signal from access point to access point, and have to reconnect to each access point manually. You don't show this to us, or even talk about it.
5 years later is this still the best setup for the money?
Am running Netgear Orbi along with their new Outdoor satellite unit. The coverage and speeds have been ridiculous (good). However this is one setup I've never tested before. Would be curious how they compare.
great video
Tech daily can you guy's do a updated comparison of this product to what's new on the market now for 2021?????
do the service points connect through the outlets in the house? or the antennas help them connect to the main router? if yes how far apart can you place them
When you enable the option for bridge mode in the AmpliFi router (as requested by FIOS) using the AmpliFi app.
You will lose features like:
Guest SSID, QoS, Static IP, Port forwarding and Parental controls.
I reached out to Amplify's support team and they advised "there are no updates on this if they will ever be implemented or not. As we have already forwarded this to the development team.
"
Very disappointed this product does not have these features once in bridge mode and will be looking to purchase something else if this is not fixed in the next firmware update.
Why is nobody talking about how many nodes or wifi points can I add to a mesh network as a maximum? Especially with this one? I live in a very big house and cannot get internet everywhere.. can I buy this and add upto 10 nodes or more?
Nice video, it looks like a fantastic solution. Unfortunately it's very expensive, currently $519.99 on amazon.ca (I'm Canadian). Is it really worth all that cash? Thanks for the video.
Darren Prest, no, you should definitely move. Trump has everything running beautifully here, and money is plentiful!
I bought it for 349 on sale at Amazon USA.
Can you post an affordable mesh wifi for outdoor we need this for our business to offer wifi to our customers outside our shop
Interesting! I don’t know of any outdoor mesh systems off the top of my head, but let me do some research about some potential ones..
TechDaily that would be great! You find the most useful gadgets in the market, I'll be waiting for your next video.
Orbi has an outdoor satellite you can pair with it.
My mesh points won’t connect to my system I’ve tried everything
If the Amplifi can only do a max of 1.7Gbs why does the box say 5.25Gbs??
Since the review is from 2018, is it still viable? (to buy?)
if you know
let me know
Wait does that mean if I have a 50mbps internet and I want more I can buy this and have a 200mbps internet?
My family brought a £30 tplink WiFi extended and get angry with me that it doesn't work properly, I'm going to hit it with a hammer and buy one of these.
Should really hide your Cox IP address, Wade.
Yeahhhh probably should have done that. Its all good though, if someone really wants to use it for whatever reason, they have too much time on their hands anyway.
TechDaily Chinese government: challenge accepted.
Yeh! You can get into real trouble exposing your cox to people I hear!
Never use the proprietary speed tester. They are motivated to display a higher speed than you’re actually getting. Trust but verify with another speed tester.
