Thank you to the powers that run baseball to allow corporate sponsor logos on the front of the jerseys. There was a time when there was no advertising on the fences or foul poles. Before you know, every seat will have a corporate logo on them as well as the light towers, the escalators, the restrooms, even the water fountains. Each inning will have a corporate name. Instead of the 3rd inning, it will be the top of my favorite beer company inning.
If Yankees stay healthy this year, they will dominate the All-Star team on the way to #28. Get in shape Yankees!

Great for the Yankees for signing Cole. An excellent move. The only thing and this is not limited to Cole but to many free agents, stop saying at your introductory press conference that you always wanted to play for this team that gave you all this money. I am not saying he did not like the Yankees when he was younger, but being a Scott Boras client, If the Dodgers or Angels offered $350 million dollars, we would be hearing how great playing for a team on the west coast is. People like David Wright and Derek Jeter, or Cal Ripkin Jr, or Jacob DeGrom, took less money to go where they wanted to play. It is everyone's right to take the best offer they can get, but stop pretending that is the only place your really wanted to sign or as a child they were my favorite team.

Gerrit Cole made a decision to fix his pitching in college so the Yankees couldn’t offer him a contract
NYY never had him what you mean? They tried to draft him in HS in 08 he turned them down, they knew thew weren't gonna get him in the 2011 draft so they tried to trade with Pittsburg multiple times. He was traded to HOU and they didn't wanna trade him away so when Cole became a FA they gave him whatever he wanted.
I never understood people who root for teams that are not local, you root for the local teams because they represent your city, so what's the point of some California dude rooting for the Yankees? I came really close to rooting for Chicago Bulls when MJ was playing but it was more of admiring the mastery at display, I was very neutral when it came to the outcome, but I didn't root for Knicks either when they played in the playoffs because Knicks played dirty and I was never a fan of that particular team. So yeah I never rooted for other teams outside my city.

@@yanksmc7 the paper is looking really new.... There are no creases formed either which is rather impossible for a paper over 20 years old as it cannot be preserved without framing it or folding it and keeping it away
