Been listening to this album from release to date, definitely musicaly forming to me as a 15 year teenager....this album is an all time classic, highly underrated yes, trancending genres...
I bought it on cassette in the 90s and had never even listened to them before. It blew me away with its strangeness and originality. It's amazing. I've tried getting into their other albums but none of them are quite like this one. I don't usually ever like calling something under rated, but this album really is.

I liked it from the first time i heard it.I bought it the year it was released.good memories 😢
I bought this on vinyl in the tail end of 1993 in Athens Greece. It was already brutally discounted (LPs used to cost 3000 drachmas a piece then, this one was just 500) since the sound shift has alienated pestilence fans and the sales collapsed. I was just 14 but this was such a bizarre experience sonically that changed my musical taste forever and introduced me to 1970s jazz fusion.

I bought it bran new on cassette at a music store in the 90s. They had a bunch of them on sale for a dollar each. I was like wtf... I'll check it out for a dollar. It instantly became one of my favourite albums.

This is the first time I hear this album, because as a fan of their first two albums I have avoided this as the plague due to all the negative responses when it was released but this is actually fantastic!

mam tak samo, ta płyta(jak i większość płyt zespołu Death) towarzyszy mi od lat 90 tych i nadal jej słucham i nadal uważam ją za największą awangardę i progresję w muzyce death metalowej, wyjebista jest 🤘🤘🤘

in the early 90s progjazzthrash wars I think this defeats nocturnous - thresholds and atheist - elements
I love this album but you cannot seriously claim it is better than tresholds. Nocturnus is another reality altogether and reigns supreme in music of that era. I would put Atheist third even though I respect the hell out of it too. Tastes... right?

Compared with testimony underrated reasonably
I also thought that this one is way far from this age that released...people didn't realize how great this album was....
