I am a black american 🇺🇸 man - building an four story apartment building in Accra, Ghana 🇬🇭 - I anticipate completing this project in April of 2024 - I started in April of 2022.
Having said that, Africa isn’t for everyone - but it’s definitely for me?
MAGA = Make Africa Great Again!
I have travelled to multiple East African countries as well as West African countries.
I strongly recommend that black Americans start vacationing on the African continent - and stopping spending your money in Europe and Asia.
Put those dollars into the African economy!

We must stop giving so much deference to the very negative. There are Africans on the continent as well as the diaspora who will always be negative people. I don't know too many of them because I don't spend much energy with them. I will continue to collaborate with very progressive and positive people!

@@mysticakhenaton1701if I can bring some clarity on this point…”Afro-“ means the same as (just a shortened prefix for) “African”. It would be similar to using “Anglo-“ as in English descent for those who are. Honestly, we use both interchangeably. It just depends on whether we want to sound more or less formal. Our courses in formal educational systems here typically use the term “Afro-American” (History or Studies).

I love Ashley. She and Mark Meet African are so amazing. Mark learned Swahili.
Most educated African Americans choose Europe or other predominantly white countries.
I personally love the US. I have lived abroad, so I know what life is like outside of the US.
If African Americans were more united, our experience in this country would be very different.
I'm happy to see African Americans visiting or moving to the motherland.
We are hated and mistreated by so many other nations and people. Our very existence depends on us uniting. We have done enough for the Europeans. We built their countries, and they still hate us.
I hope black people wake up before it's too late.

The early European settlers who came to America were you. They were black Europeans:
"The slave owners and colonial governors were members of the European black bourgeoisie class and were brown or black complexion. They were often fairer in looks then their slaves; but, also as black of skin as some of their slaves. The house slaves were often children, brothers, sisters and kin of these black bourgeoise European masters. This accounts for their preferential status; so, after manumission they could inherit land and marry a European". -Codfried Egmond. This isn't exactly a negative or a dig on any one of them. I think that they have or are putting a lot of energy into building their lives here, and maybe there are some immigration issues that I am not aware of, as I am African American. My direction now is to go to Africa, and find some Africans who are perhaps already doing well in Africa and have every reason to stay in Africa.

My heart is to come home to the place where my family originated from. The problem is for me, I will not come to a place that is not prepared for me. This means that I need the $$$$$ to make that transition. I must have a home to come to. Once I get there, I believe I can culturally adapt. I stay to myself any way. I just want peace. I want to be able to live the rest of my life removed from the hatred from those that don't like me JUST BECAUSE OF THE COLOR OF MY SKIN. I certainly don't want to be treated poorly because of a "perceived" notion that because I came from America, I have money. I am struggling here in America and I don't want to struggle the same way in Africa.

I have told all my family in America, that I am moving to Ghana. I have a business here and I will be taking it to Africa. I am a country girl, I grew up in the country side of Mississippi and if I could survive in racist Mississippi I know that I can survive anywhere. Matter of facts, we kind of lived similar. Sister, if you got problems in Africa, you probably should not be in Africa. I know that all Black people should not move the motherland. I am a former Government officer and I don't want to go to Africa to work hard but I am coming to work as I wish to work. Also, I am a Pan African and I participate heavily in my Pan African Atlanta Chapter. As a former Park Ranger, I started working and building Federal Historic Sites/Parks in America. If you look at Federal Historic Parks/Sites in America, we have very few, Federal Historic African America Parks in America. It not hard to kind of figure out their names, especially the sites that are located in the state of Georgia , one of Georgia most visited park. I kind of think some of the knowledge that I acquired as a Ranger will benefit the motherland. I am heavily into tourism and I wish to take my tourism/travel to the motherland, to the next level. Matter of facts, I am doing this as I write this comment. The thing that I will miss the most in America are the people that have put their Reunions and trust in my hands. I do a lot of Class Reunions, Family Reunions, Military Reunions, County Reunions and Educational Tours, this I will miss. people, don't wait for someone to do for you, that, which you can do for oneself. As I retire from America, I wish to travel through the continent and create a system in every country, and I wish to start my work with Ghana. I can remember the late great Ron Brown, this man put a bug in my ear, and I will never forget him. As I attended all of his activities that he held in Atlanta, informing the group on doing business internationally. Still, to this day, I got information that he gave us from those events. Sister, you need to stop being so critical of our people movement. I wish not to just travel to Africa but I want to visit the planet, everywhere I see Black people, I wish to travel there, we are smart people, we survived slavery. I don't think that, there are anyplace else on the planet that is worst than America slavery system. Sister, check out the Historic Herndon Home Mansion Museum in Atlanta, the home of the late Alonzo Herndon. This man was born on a freaking plantation in Georgia. Alonzo Herndon became Georgia first Black millionaire, so, sister close your mouth and let our Black world redefine ourselves. We have spend close to 400 years with these devils-invaders, its time now for all Black people to explore our possibilities without racism. No one made a mistake with the creation of our Black people, we are the first human on this planet and everyone else are the invaders. It took twenty millions years for our people, the Black woman, to go through evolution, no other so called group came through evolution, and with this said, this here proves our tenacity. We were here millions of years before the mutants arrived. The Black man makes up 90% of this planet population. The last stage of Black evolution was the Homo Sapiens Sapiens-the arrival of the Black woman on planet earth. My history started in the "land of the Black". As I study the teaching of our "Great Black Master Teachers" no one on this planet is more powerful than the Black man, our people doesn't know our strength, the mere facts that melanin is in our skin is a plus, because this too, is a science. If it was not for the Black woman there would be no human life form on planet earth. So, sister, stop allowing a group of people to define you with their creation of money currency and weapons of mass destruction, because this is all that the invaders have on us. The invaders created his money to over power you and then, the invaders created his weapons to over throw you. The invaders are doing what they do best; steal, kill, and destroy.

True, but you have to understand that there are 54 countries in Africa, with completely different customs and thinking even from each other. Sorry to say but many people who are of African descent who immigrate to Africa treat the locals as an inferior species and feel that they are above them. Unfortunately, I have encountered many such experiences. It's just that they forget that they moved to these countries for a reason, not because they had a good time in the countries with the "good" passport. When they do this they do not realize that they are representatives of the foreigners and they cause many locals to be full of resentment towards them.

Lived in Tanzania for 14 months and had to leave because my family and I were having such a hard time with immigration. We even started a business and hired all locals. Unfortunately, Tanzania’s immigration and some locals made it too difficult to stay and enjoy the Motherland. I think some African Americans feel like they rather deal with the devil they know instead of one that is discized to look like us. I feel as a collective, we need to respect, trust and make room for us first. I feel there should be some kind of reparation act for us all that mandates us to learn, grow, work together so we can be healed accountable to the growth of our people. Making it more difficult won’t go over well at all for us. African Americans have taken A LOT from a lot of people and are some of the most hated people in this world. However, we are some of the most loving, forgiving and misunderstood people I FEEL you will ever meet. I feel at this point, it is what it is and one day, we will eventually find a corner we can live our days in peace away from all negativity, even from our own people.

Africa that we occasionally share out here. As more of us look to the Continent, especially those of us who are much more accomplished and financially viable, it is clear that the U.S. and the west will want to work against that. As much as we are unappreciated or under-appreciated here, the loss of intellectual and financial capital when we begin to place our resources there WILL be felt, and so they will make it more difficult! This is why we must build our relationships and plant seeds there NOW! We must be our best, and BRING our best (there). That is our commitment. We look forward to our return to our residence there in the coming weeks in Johannesburg to spend a little time.🤗

Happy you had a Happy and Merry Holidays (Christmas) Season this year Ndagire and will continue to have a Great New Year next year in whatever your endeavors. I have no complaints about my Holidays Season and actually count this season as one of my BEST in REAL terms (what are the most important things in life, which one HAS TO LIVE to even know or even THINK about the concept of what is really important in life to know). As to this video, WHEW???? I tried to write something SHORT, but it kept getting LONGER AND LONGER and even "DEEPER", so I decided not to say/write what "I" THINK. Each to HIS/HER own is my philosophy. As well as, "IF" you "THINK" things WILL BE BAD for "YOU"; usually you will end up being 100% Correct. And the WORSE PART will be or is "IF" you are BASING what you are doing based on SOMEBODY'S ELSE perception or expectation of "YOU". I fight HARD to avoid that "TRAP". I will end on this. I am "NOT" African American. I am American of American African Slavery Descent. That MAKES a HUGE DIFFERENCE in how I "SEE" the World in terms of WHO "I" AM and who my ancestors "WERE". I wouldn't even take a "FREE RIDE" back to Africa "ANYWHERE" and it has NOTHING to do with the Continent of Africa or the people. Anyway, STAYING "POSITIVE", Happy New Year "EVERYBODY". TIME takes care of all things. And it will be WHAT IT "IS" at that time. Oh, seeing black BEAUTY does something to my SOUL. Keep posting and maybe send an "EASY" video for discussion, Ndagire, from time to time that DON'T go all the way to the "CORE" of one's being (me).

Great Episode👍🏾. I awoke this beautiful rainy morning in Entebbe and watched your show. I forwarded it to a friend and asked when she speaks of "Diaspora" does that include Blacks in the UK, Europe, The Caribbean, South America, and Asia? Her answer was "YES" I then asked her if it included Black Americans and she had something very interesting to say. I then informed her that many Africans who are first and second generation away from Africa want nothing to do with their home country or even Africa, they consider themselves escapees. Black Americans are slowly understanding that "diaspora" excludes them in the minds of MOST Africans.. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I do follow Ashley. I would agree that the US is a capitalist country - there is a huge focus on money here. There is American culture but there is also African American culture. We’ve had to really create our own (African American) culture but it’s not all capitalism. There is a beauty in our culture and heritage and also thankfully in having some idea of where our families came from in Africa we can learn about, explore and embrace those cultures too because they are also our culture.
I’m glad that African Americans and diasporans are embracing Africa by moving there or just visiting. I’m noticing more and more African Americans wanting to visit the African continent.
Things have changed globally. I’ve heard that Brazil is also making it harder for Americans from the US to visit so it may even be a global thing.
I do feel like west and central African countries should make it easer for African Americans and other Black diasporans to at least visit. That’s our homeland and I think it’s sad for there to potentially be more barriers for us to come back to regions where our ancestors were forcibly removed.
But much love to everyone and I am glad to see Africa rising. Happy New Years!

All culture is made up, it is made up of ideals and habits of people who adopted them and taught their children. A culture that people have is not necessarily a good thing, a lot of it is due to ignorance and lack of understanding.
