I love Heartland! I have been watching since the first season. It is the only show I watch anymore. I have not seen season 16 yet, but will as soon as available in U.S. Jack is my favorite character. Love Amy and Jack's relationship. Can not wait to see season 16. It took me three years before I could watch season 14, I knew what happened and could not bear to see what happened to Ty. I have watched all the seasons over and over again, It is hard now to go back and watch the Amy and Ty relationship, knowing what happens to Ty. I know the show will go on, but it is just so sad without Ty. I only watched season 14 once and cried very hard each episode. I will not be able to watch the season again. Bless all the cast and people who work on Heartland. It is the BEST SHOW!

My daughter and I have been watching since the beginning and still watching everyday front to back seasons, we can’t not watch Heartland! I think one way to keep Ty alive/present in future seasons w/b to have Megan Fellows spend more time as Grandma with Lindy. As much as I’ve always loved Ty, and respecting Graham’s desire to focus on other career opportunities (he’s doing great by the way), it’s also important to show how a good, strong woman & mother successfully moves on with trying new relationships & marries again with love, respect & remembrance of Ty as her late husband & father to Lindy. This world today could use a great example of how that’s done!
Amber enjoys doing this! She gets paid big time for every interview, weather forecast(which she is not accurate in most cases). I reside in the same area as she and wonder were she is getting her weather info from!! Lol! I will give her credit for her love of farming and animals that is her strength! But her acting has gone downhill since Graham left! He was her strength and mentor when it came to acting.

Love the interview with Amber. She is such a great actress and she is a true friend to all. The only thing that I was hurt by in season 16 is how Ty was left out of her and Lyndy’s life! A example was Lyndy getting on the bus and instead of Amy thinking about how proud Ty would have been of their daughter it went to Amy and Finn. Any man that comes into Lyndy’s life has to keep her daddy alive to her ❤😢
John I agree with you on your Ty comment. I was very disappointed in Amy bringing out that MIRICLE GIRL saddle that Amhed gave her and then taking Lyndy for a ride on not only that saddle but putting it on Ty's horse Harley! That was rubbing salt in Ty's memory! No one who loved there partner in real life would do that so why a fake show! That plus Amy told Lou she returned all the gifts back to Amhed in season 8! Hmm! Just saying!
Ty hasn't been left out of her life. He's been referenced multiple times. Do you think Graham Wardle may prefer that Ty not to be brought up very often? For 2 years, he's tried to distance himself from the show. I'm not saying this IS the case, but it is possible. I'm confident there are lots of reasons the writers do what they do and it's impossible to please everyone.

I also recall Amy saying that all the gifts had been returned to Ahmed and I too was dismayed that Amy brought up the saddle again and that it was put on Ty's horse. I thought that was very badly done and showed a distinct lack of respect for Ty. Nobody IRL, who professed to still love their departed husband would do that to them. I also feel there is not enough talk between Amy and Lyndy about Ty, and how much Ty loved his daughter. Lyndy is being brought up to not even know that she has a father - another thing that would not happen in real life. He is very rarely mentioned at all now by anyone, and never in conversations with Lyndy. This does not happen IRL or certainly not in the families I am associated with. Everyone still speaks of their loved ones.

@Lois Wilson I don't think it is Heather or Amber's intention to make Robert's character Finn out to be a bad guy, and she said so in the interview. That is not the way they want to honor him. Although his passing was shocking and unexpected 😳, I think they are going to do their best to end his story in a good and respectful way.
I love the show ,didnt like the fact that they killed off Ty. They could have done it differently and Graham could have come back near the end alive as Amy was dreaming all this. I stopped watching this show after that happened. They did get one thing right, they brought Peter and Lou back together. Gabriel Hogan is an amazing actor and addition to the cast.
You are forgetting that the actor who played Ty did not want to continue filming the show. I cried in the episode where he died but it was not the producers simply decided to kill off the character.
Amy /Amber is so lovely .I loved what she said about Robert and that honouring the character Finn is important. For years I was a Graham Wardle fan only and everyone else was just along for the ride and in so doing i came to love the horse scenes and some of the other stories were captivating. i lost interest in those years after season6 where a lot of us didn't believe they were ever going to let the wedding happen for Ty and Amy. The baby sparked a new interest in me but Graham was obviously struggling ( if you followed him separate from the show). The Finn character was so good and I loved how engaged and mature their relationship was. I have been captivated again this season 16 with the Finn Amy story and bought the season to replay that "fence line scene" over and over again which I do. Amy has been so fantastic navigating this. Great interview.
By following the series from the very beginning, I became passionate and attached to this family story and its ranch. Unfortunately, I was forced to stop following the series. Indeed, after having searched absolutely everywhere on the internet, it was impossible for me to find season 15, even in VOSTFR. Hoping one day to be able to watch the continuation of the Heartland adventure (Season 16 and following).
Great interview. I haven't been watching Heartland as long as some of the other fans. I have been watching for almost 2 years and fell in love with the show after watching the 1st season. I finally got caught up to Season 13 on Netflix towards the middle of the summer and Seasons 14-15 on Up, Faith, and Family here in the US. Saw some of Season 16 while on Thanksgiving & Xmas holiday. Will have to wait for the remaining episodes. I'm hoping it is picked up by Up, Faith, and Family again. I'm praying for more seasons. This is an awesome show, and we need more wholesomeness like this. 😍
I'm so glad Heartland has the good bones to have lasted this long. I will compare this to "The Waltons" for its wholesomeness and well written 'bingeability'. We need more shows like it, especially for the 'kids' to see there's more than one way to deal with everyday problems. Besides that, it gives me some exposure to horsemanship I am no longer physically able to have in my life.
My daughter is special-needs she actually loves heartland. She has not been able to watch season 15 or 16 yet because they are not on Netflix. I cannot wait to see them both and my daughter would love to meet everyone on heartland and. My daughter has watched heartland from season one to season 14 at least 10 more times. And I wish one moon how I can come to see you all for my daughter to meet you all that would be the most that she would love. She absolutely loves horses. She is taking animal science in school because of this program she has been bullied in her life Which I have two been bullied all my life and it breaks my heart that my daughter doesn’t have the opportunity to ride horses when she wants to because I can’t afford the lessons. And my daughter has low muscle tone AHAD she was acting and shoe really want to go to Magis.
Alicia I am glad your daughter has the opportunity to enjoy a show with her favorite animal in it. Animals are not like the many in the world who pick on and are bullies to others. They are always a friend to anyone regardless of there differences, challenges etc. Animals are very therapeutic and can work wonders with those requiring assistance. I think how Jack felt about finn was how many people feel about ty. (Not me) but some people hate other people moving on even in a tv show. I'm loving the new seasons and new stories.

I can’t find the episodes with Amy and Finn. We thought season 16 end and Amy had no relationship with Finn. They just got re funding for Wildes and Lou and Mitch broke up before their wedding. Maybe it’s on a channel other than Netflix?
Not sure how this show can continue. Ty is now complete history. She has taken off the rings. Now they keep pushing a guy on her. Lou is silly and ridiculous. Just ready for this show to end.
I've always had a hard time trying to understand why Amy as much as she loves Ty and still missing him why hasn't see ever taken his last name even --it with hers. I love when she sees his ghost 💜 it would be interesting if Lindy would. Amy should start ridding Tys motorcycle that would be awesome. Yeah she should move on but theirs always going to be little snippets in her life and Lindys. Have a bench or special area by the swing with his name on it to sit and picnic and watch the wild horses💜
Now is a good time for Amy to dig up what happened to Chase when she left with the ring of fire and also when she left with the prince across Europe, so she can justify her attitude towards Ty.
So very far away from the main plot of this nice show. It could of been saved. I don’t watch anymore. People are now watching episodes where the two main characters one of which unfortunately passes away. Change it or end it,stop killing off your show little by little.

Amy /Amber is so lovely .I loved what she said about Robert and that honouring the character Finn is important. For years I was a Graham Wardle fan only and everyone else was just along for the ride and in so doing i came to love the horse scenes and some of the other stories were captivating. i lost interest in those years after season6 where a lot of us didn't believe they were ever going to let the wedding happen for Ty and Amy. The baby sparked a new interest in me but Graham was obviously struggling ( if you followed him separate from the show). The Finn character was so good and I loved how engaged and mature their relationship was. I have been captivated again this season 16 with the Finn Amy story and bought the season to replay that "fence line scene" over and over again which I do. Amy has been so fantastic navigating this. Great interview.
By following the series from the very beginning, I became passionate and attached to this family story and its ranch. Unfortunately, I was forced to stop following the series. Indeed, after having searched absolutely everywhere on the internet, it was impossible for me to find season 15, even in VOSTFR. Hoping one day to be able to watch the continuation of the Heartland adventure (Season 16 and following).
Great interview. I haven't been watching Heartland as long as some of the other fans. I have been watching for almost 2 years and fell in love with the show after watching the 1st season. I finally got caught up to Season 13 on Netflix towards the middle of the summer and Seasons 14-15 on Up, Faith, and Family here in the US. Saw some of Season 16 while on Thanksgiving & Xmas holiday. Will have to wait for the remaining episodes. I'm hoping it is picked up by Up, Faith, and Family again. I'm praying for more seasons. This is an awesome show, and we need more wholesomeness like this. 😍
Completely agree! Amber and the other cast members have poured their heart into this show for so many years and it's still great! Love it!
I'm so glad Heartland has the good bones to have lasted this long. I will compare this to "The Waltons" for its wholesomeness and well written 'bingeability'. We need more shows like it, especially for the 'kids' to see there's more than one way to deal with everyday problems. Besides that, it gives me some exposure to horsemanship I am no longer physically able to have in my life.
My daughter is special-needs she actually loves heartland. She has not been able to watch season 15 or 16 yet because they are not on Netflix. I cannot wait to see them both and my daughter would love to meet everyone on heartland and. My daughter has watched heartland from season one to season 14 at least 10 more times. And I wish one moon how I can come to see you all for my daughter to meet you all that would be the most that she would love. She absolutely loves horses. She is taking animal science in school because of this program she has been bullied in her life Which I have two been bullied all my life and it breaks my heart that my daughter doesn’t have the opportunity to ride horses when she wants to because I can’t afford the lessons. And my daughter has low muscle tone AHAD she was acting and shoe really want to go to Magis.
Alicia I am glad your daughter has the opportunity to enjoy a show with her favorite animal in it. Animals are not like the many in the world who pick on and are bullies to others. They are always a friend to anyone regardless of there differences, challenges etc. Animals are very therapeutic and can work wonders with those requiring assistance. I wish her all the best in her studies and hope a time will come for her to enjoy a horse ride or two! Keep your spirits up (Positive Thinking). Take care!

I can’t find the episodes with Amy and Finn. We thought season 16 end and Amy had no relationship with Finn. They just got re funding for Wildes and Lou and Mitch broke up before their wedding. Maybe it’s on a channel other than Netflix?

I've always had a hard time trying to understand why Amy as much as she loves Ty and still missing him why hasn't see ever taken his last name even --it with hers. I love when she sees his ghost 💜 it would be interesting if Lindy would. Amy should start ridding Tys motorcycle that would be awesome. Yeah she should move on but theirs always going to be little snippets in her life and Lindys. Have a bench or special area by the swing with his name on it to sit and picnic and watch the wild horses💜

It's getting to be a little boring. Amy is never happy and the plots are just kind of same old thing
So very far away from the main plot of this nice show. It could of been saved. I don’t watch anymore. People are now watching episodes where the two main characters one of which unfortunately passes away. Change it or end it,stop killing off your show little by little.

I tried to find something that supports what you say about CBC Gem ranking it #40, but cannot find anything to back that up.

Real Heartland fans simply want that back. You don't forget and not talk about a family member or friend because they chose to leave a province, state or country so why would you for the person who was somewhat responsible for the success of the show!! Real fans want there entire family to enjoy. But a soap fan would not grasp a family show they would see Amy needs a man the whole focus!!lol!
