Hi from the states ❤. Ive binge-watched Heartland from start Season 1 thru Season 15 JUST RECENTLY... for the first time. I can't believe it started so long ago. At least I'm watching it now. Looking forward to seeing Seasons 16-17 asap. However, I cannot face this show ever ending 😢. When I saw Amber's face on my YT feed, I just had to tune in. Love her, sweet person, great actress too. Thank you for such a beautiful series. God bless you all.
Amber that is so true about a dog during covid we bonded with our neighbors who really did not know well at all we became close friends through their sheep dog & When I became an empty nester that dog Moose filled an empty feeling I was experiencing H😮e comes to visit every night & checks on my hubby & I & of course there is a treat involved & if we go away He walks the whole perimeter of the house & watches out

Been that way since time began.....watch DVD "Eqquus..horses have 17 connective cognitive expressions. One more than dogs....so many facts to know to EDUCATE about connecting w/animals, especially horses.

Great point, the love story between Amy and Ty was always the best part of watching Heartland. It was such a loving, and powerful relationship that most would characterize it as perfect. That is why many fans continue to watch the series for any reference or inclusion of Ty in the lives of Amy and lindy. In my opinion, the writers don't do enough of Amy talking about Ty especially to Lindy. The introduction of Nathan as Amy's new love interest or as some would say the new Ty is only to keep things interesting and not boring. In the end, the Amy and Lyndy connection to Ty will always prevail over everything else including any new love interest for Amy.
I have watched SEASONS 1 THRU SEASON 17 I just can't understand why Amy and Jack refuse to tell LYNDY stories of her daddy. While around Lyndy it's like TY never EXISTED. Lyndy doesn't even point to TY's stone on the Fireplace.
Amber doesn't have any say in the storylines, it is all the writers. But I will pass along these great ideas see if I can get anyone to listen to me :)

Ty is a deadbeat and left Hesrtland and now he’s trying to ride Amber’s coattails to keep himself relevant. He’s dead, irrelevant and needs to be totally removed from any connection to Hesrtland !
Great interview Nita! My sense of Heartland seson 18 and any subsequent seasons going forward is that Amy with any other guy (not Ty) including Nathan is strictly for the dramatic effect which to some keeps the show interesting. But in the end no guy will be good enough for Amy especially when she compares it to her uniquely powerful love story with Ty.

I loved this interview. I love the show watched it daily and several times. I want so much to meet the cast. Went there last year and loved heartland. Will go back to hopefully see filming ambers store. Just love them.

@@KeepHeartlandStrong One of my favorite things about Heartland is that no character is perfect. Not even Amy or Jack. Everyone has their strengths and their blindspots. It makes it more realistic. Caleb longs to be loved and sometimes he misinterprets / overreacts to signals women are sending him and he loses it - and violates boundaries which is not good. But it's human.
I just love Amber I watch heartland at least 5 hours every day.. don’t like Nathan he is trouble

I disagree, I think Nathan would be a great insertion into Amy's life. The writers can easily put Amy and Nathan in a romantic relationship, and enough time has gone by to see the possibility of marriage. It would be a great change.

As for Nathan fingers crossed she dumps him and ok with Caleb returning but as a good friend only!! Don't see the grand finale season being all that good! The older actors have run out of enthusiasm (Jack, Lisa,Tim, Lou) and the new ones are not that good other than character Logan and his girlfriend! Katie I am not sure about! Can't see writing/poetry exciting to fans!! Stunt doubles are almost non existent other than Nathans as he can't even ride a horse properly so his double rides 95% of the time!! Just saying from beautiful foothills of Alberta 🇨🇦🤠🐎

Não vou comentar os pontos negativos da 16° Temporada (foi até aí que assisti), porque não compreendi muito bem o desenrolar da trama...😅 tenho imensa admiração pelo conservadorismo, união, lutas e batalhas travadas que cada personagem apresenta, sempre apresentando "a solução final..."; por isso, não entendi o "modernismo" apresentado, por exemplo (união do mesmo sexo, rejeitação e indiferença familiar da Kate), preferência pela "George", também dá para perceber...
Enfim, como eu sou muito "FAMÍLIA", e HEARTLAND sempre demonstrou esse espírito de união e ajuda familiar, eu jà à partir da 16° Temporada, fiquei confusa...😅

It's called Tyland, its a parody of Heartland. Sort of like Space Balls or Bored of the Rings, (parody of Lord of the Rings) if you've heard of those parodies...also very funny...

Well, I really think these storylines would add alot of drama and intrigue to the episodes. Like Jeremy comes back and tries to kill someone...or says he's changed...etc.Chase is married, but we really dont know what happened with his wife or child...maybe we'll find out in S18 :)
