Also, the dinosaur in the background of that one appears to be the T-Rex from Dinosaurus, fighting a crane instead of a steam shovel.

The german dub for Gamera vs. Barugon is really weird.
They changed Gamera's name to Barugon, and changed Barugon's name to Godzilla.
They also mispronounce Godzilla as "Godchilla".

The one with Gamera and Barugan where Gamera is portrayed as a fire breathing dragon might be a situation where the artist was only told the movie was a fire breathing reptile when the artist asked about the description of Gamera and Barugon. Remember back when these movie posters were made information was usually word of mouth unless someone was handed a picture showing what they need to create from. Or if they watched the movie. That poster was probably the artist not watching the film 1st. Or it could just be that a fire breathing dragon will sell more tickets than a turtle back then. Just a couple possibilities.

I have no words on the Pakistan poster of the return of Godzilla because it’s looks surprisingly crazy and i don’t what was the artist thinking while making that poster and it’s feels like he’s on crack while making that poster
7:43 It's mostly due to the politival sitation at the time. Couldn't have anything the government would find inappropriate in any way (and definitely not glorifying the west), so it's kinda mostly art-sy illustrations. If you haven't, check out the poster for "Alien", it's just doctor Zoidberg.

Looks like the extra dinosaur in the Pakistani Godzilla 85 poster is from the 1993 movie Carnosaur. If that is official, it took a long time to get to that country.
Let’s make up some more strange posters, I’ll go first, it has pachimon looking kaiju, some space ships, some aliens, with super heroes that resemble unused showa era unused ultraman and kamen rider designs, the title translates to “space fantasy wars” it’s the third movie of in the series of made up films.
Remember to put Superman somewhere in there too! So it should be titled "Space Fantasy Wars: Superman vs Frankenstein"!

those Italian posters are insane in a "so bad its good" sorta way. remember, this was the era when their local market was making shoestring kitschy James Bond ripoffs and Crime films. And spaghetti westerns.
edit: You also have to remember Dino De Laurentius' King Kong 1976 was a bit hit when it came out, and if a film is successful in Italy, filmmakers and distributors start riding a genre hype train.
You missed something on the Pakistan Godzilla 84 poster. The guy with the gun is Bo Hopkins taken from a poster of Nightmare at Noon, AKA Death Street.
I'm fairly certain that the Pakistan poster is either fake or fan made because that's definitely the rex and dozer from Carnosaur.
And the guy in Godzilla's mouth on the Pakistan poster is from The Shawshank redemption

honestly that would be so confusing for someone who was a fan of these movies: some kaiju are advertised in the wrong movie, and some aren't even advertised as a kaiju movie at all!

You ain't. Godzilla is a dinosaur, he looks like a dinosaur, sounds like a dinosaur, and he is designed after dinosaurs, it makes sense that he looks like a dinosaur.
It's why I love Marvel's, Bill Stout's, Stan Winston's, and MonsterVerse Godzillas -- they all look like dinosaurs.
@@MrAwsomeness360 yeah, stumbled across Bill stout's version recently thanks to MIB and it's so awesome, that's probably how i would do godzilla for a movie, as well as making mothra look like a 50's giant bug in line with the deadly mantis and THEM, as well as making monsters like anguirus similar to how Matt frank depectied him in Godzilla Neo, basically giving a lot of the big G's foes either the Old school movie dino treatment or 50's early 60's B-monster movie look, but with a higher budget

I'm trying to remember if I've ever seen a Kong vs Ebirah poster, because that would be hilariously post-correct! I beg to differ... There was in fact an ancient species of turtle that had teeth. scientist can tell they only had them when they were young though. Truth be told I only vaguely remembered that from some random thing I heard once before had to look it up to remember the full details

Good videos but "theory-atrical" releases is not a word. The right word for what I think you mean would be "theatrical", pronounced "thee-at-rical". I wouldn't care if it was once or twice or if the mispronuncuation was minor but you use this word a lot and absolutely butcher it every time and it's honestly really annoying.
I don't want you to think I'm hating because I have been really enjoying the videos otherwise so far and intend this to be constructive criticism. Getting little things like this right will help the quality of your work shine through to its full potential. Basically just skip the "ree" syllable in your current pronunciation and you got it.
