Hi Bernard, the two investment vehicles are used for different goals/objectives. An individual pension scheme is used to save for retirement and a SACCO is mostly used to save for big projects and also to access affordable loans. To decide which one to use, you have to determine your objective.
@@TheWealthTribe Thanks Agatha, Assuming that you are engaged and you are likely not going to acquire a loan from the sacco in about 10 yrs. It is advisable to deposit say Ksh 5000 monthly in a sacco or in a pension scheme...Where are the returns high and which carry most risks.
