I went to Times Square for NYE with my husband & friends a few years ago. It’s an experience but I wouldn’t do it again. Not worth it. Getting in was horrible! We felt like we were going to get trampled because of the way people were acting. And being barricaded in a corral with hundreds of people for 12 hours was horrible. I was so sick the next day. The only good thing about it was we made friends with people from different countries & played games & shared pizza.

when u mention you had a rough night on new years eve i feel like i can relate… because umm on the morning of new years eve like dec 31 my brother called me as well as all my family, and mention my closest first cousin i grew up w he got into a car accident, and he was young like hes about the same age as me… i kinda feel numb and just dismiss it like its a lie no wayyy like i basically in denial so is my mom too, and just not wanna think about it n go about my day thinking nah maybe at the end of the day he’ll pull thru or maybe this is all a prank idk i just dont wanna even think or talk about it… one of my besties wanted to hang out and i was like okurl gurl lets go we went to the vegas strip and we were all shouting happy new year as the firework go off like im happy but at the same time im like not 💯happy like i am just not as giddy as i shudve been im just not in the mood but i am genuinely happy to see the fireworks and tat its the new year i later told my bestie that im not as 💯 all here cos my mind is somewhere else n told her why … i kinda feel bad cos i want this night to be fun and happiest moment but im just not in it i wish i had talked to my late cousin more while we had the chance or just these thoughts like dang life is so short the times u have w your loved ones, treasure them because u don’t know how precious it is until you lose it fly high bro 🕊️ you’ll be missed but never forgotten idk who needs to hear this but whoever has the same experience as me, go celebrate their life like honor their memory like remember them how they were, if they love to sing, sing their fav song, if their fav food was a store bought fruit cake go buy it and leave it at their gravestone, if they love a certain gum flavor buy both and leave it at their gravestone, if its xmas season buy a small xmas tree and leave it at their gravestone and when u miss them, go bring flowers to their gravestone they will always live on in you and everyones heart, much love n healing to whoever needs to hear this🫶🏼❤
