  • This spectacular tiny house is ultra small and designed to travel, but when it's owner found the perfect parking spot he added on an incredible toilet and luxurious bath-house made from recycled windows.

    The tiny house is only 4 meters (roughly 13 ft) in length, making it ultra portable, and features a spectacular geodesic window which floods the home with a transcendent array of colour.
    For a number of years, Emmet traveled all over eastern Australia with his tiny home on wheels, before eventually finding a wonderful organic farm where he chose to settle down for a time. With a long term parking spot in place, he set about constructing a wonderful bath house for himself, with amazing views over the farm and all constructed with recycled glass windows.

      @@YourGrace_06 sooo... Where I live it's kind of is illegal. You can only live in it in a tiny house community, but a tiny house doesn't count as a house here. So the municipality has the right to ignore it for a maximum of 10 years. And it's a lot of communication and work to make a deal with the municipality. Most times it's on ground that has not been used for a while. And if the municipality sells it they can kick everyone out. It is legal and easy for recreational purposes.

    His "nothing to lose" approach is right on! Even if you're a fairly skilled carpenter, people make mistakes all the time, so why not try with materials that were free in the first place? Way less pressure that way, and you always learn if it doesn't work out (you rarely ever lose - you win, or you learn :)). Really refreshing video, Bryce. Thanks as always for your great work and continuing to tell these types of stories! :)

      Wow, this is phenomenal. It feels like the _TARDIS_ with it looking, well, err.., tiny on the outside. But, step inside and it feels much larger because of the ceiling space. The ablutions block, or should that be, _the off-suite_ is fabulousness in it's soft pink and clear, moveable walls. Thanks Bryce. Your tiny house is by far the nicest I saw, watching a lot of other tiny houses. The recycled wood gives it so much more character then all the new built ones. Not to mention your bath house. There are spa's where you pay a lot of money for a room and a bathroom like that. Enjoy living in it.

    Love how tiny houses remind me of - The Coat of Many Colors...especially this one. Very special. As a women, I would put some white sheer curtains in the bathhouse so they can flow with the wind giving peeks as to what's inside. Also, it was so cute how excited Bryce was to go into the bathhouse, lol.

    Once again a great video. I told you before I live by myself in a 4 bedroom house. I feel like a prisoner, to be honest. I'm 66 years old and I have way too much stuff. I'd love to downsize and move into a MUCH small home with more land. I live on Long Island where the houses 15 feet apart. When I watch your videos, I fantasize about living in a small house like some of the ones you show. Keep up the excellent work you do!

      Give away the majority of your stuff to people in need, keep only essentials. Recycle what can't be given away. Buy a tiny home made of recycled materials which runs on renewable energy and not propane. Composting toilet. Find a community. Aircrete Dome homes are great. Good luck :)

    • @RedfishInc
      @RedfishInc Před 5 lety +6

      @@aryastark3148 great advice but I'd start with finding the place to park/build the home. To many cities still won't allow homes like these within the city proper. Make sure you will be welcome to live as you want where you want.
