Constructing the tiny house herself, mostly from reclaimed and seconds grade materials, she was able to build her small home for a unbelievably low price, meaning she now owns her own home debt free.

Living in a tiny house together with a teenager may be a challenge at times, but thanks to some incredibly clever design both mother and daughter have ample private space in the home.

Dang… Fridge, tub, washer+dryer, two private bedrooms - with closets! For $35k. This lady has mastered the tiny house.
The fact that the mom made sure her daugher's room was big enough she could have friends over and private enough she could spend time alone is amazing. So many tiny houses have loft rooms without any privacy and the access to them tends to be difficult
Such a cool mom. Giving her daughter the larger space and making it “teenager friendly” just warmed me heart. Super cool room
The only tiny house, for me, that is actually affordable and has a lot of storage space and also takes in account the privacy. She did an amazing job.
Finally a parent who understands that teens want to hang out in their own space!

I love that when he asked "what's it like living in a tiny home with a teen?" And she didn't talk shit about her teen or make fun of her. Very mature, friendly family. Strong mother. I hope they are very happy.
I like that she took into account her daughter's privacy. A lot of these houses with kids seem to have younger kids, and forget that this will likely become an issue

Holy Smokes! Hands down the BEST tiny home I've seen. She did not waste a single inch of space. I love that the bedrooms are actually bedrooms with a door and the full sized bathroom and kitchen I was speechless. Love this tiny home!

2 bedrooms with actual doors for privacy is such a great feat for this tiny home. Such an excellent design! I'd be obsessed too if I'm going to be living there. The mom is so calm and it actually made me more relaxed while watching this video.
