"The White voice" is a word of phrase common for *black people needing to force their vernacular to the normal white voice in order to gain careers.* I suggest looking into the term "Code Switching" if you want more context. (Basically its when people will change how they speak depending on who they talk to and why. People of color can be found doing this to avoid the subtle racism of when people avoided them for their culture.)
According to the movie they talk to, it fits into that "person of color needs to fit in just to properly progress" because people still look down on black vernacular, accent, and culture that can make the difference between being hired and being rejected.
Looquesha touches this, but its again, that reason. They wanted minorities to give them a chance, and the white majority fakes a minority identity *to take a position from a minority who could've needed it.* Not only that, but he bases this fake accent on stereotypes AND takes it a step further in turning it to some developing multiple personality disorder for the guy. Which isn't at all what "Code Switching" is and even mocks DID while doing this with NO message to say "hey- this isn't okay. Let's accept our cultures and not deny it."
Such a good movie until the ending..... what the fuck even was the ending!?!? 🐎🐎
@@fuav66777j You really need to educate yourself that movie is about society forcing black people to something we call “code switching” and or “white washing” ourselves to be seen as professional or successful. It’s about how AAVE is seen as “ghetto”

Ironic how he literally stole a job from a bipoc
Hey I’m not trying to be “that guy” I’m trying to help because you’ve got a genuinely good point.
Excepting= accepting.
Thats all. I’m sorry.
I cannot explain why but this video is like my comfort video, I’ve been back here dozens of times. I’ll fall asleep to this! I love all of Mac’s content but this on in particular I just can’t stop watching lol
I have many comfort videos and they are like this one (:
This movie is the racist version of radio rebel
Regardless of the facts that White Chicks is actually comedic and written well, the characters were not pretending to be a stereotype they saw once on tv, they were pretending to be specific white girls that they actually met
Yep. White face isn't real so that's a totally different thing. White Chicks wasn't even racist unlike this dog shit
I was confused as to why White Chicks was even brought up lol
@@epsilonart3309 it's a movie where 2 black male cops go undercover as white girls to solve a crime. The creators of loquesha used it in their defence of the movie
@@internationalqueen3691 I know I literally love that movie I was just confused as to why it was even mentioned because it has nothing to do with this garbage ah haha
@@epsilonart3309 the only connection is that white chicks also has men pretending to be women of a different race but white chicks is LEAGUES better than this shit
"The writer, creator and the main character!" *Lin-Manuel Miranda hides*
- edit: yes Lin did it well, as did other characters. But I thought most people would recognize Lin.
lin manuel miranda: *s w e a t s n e r v o u s l y*
Yeah but he pulled it off XD
Difference is that Lin Manuel did great lmao
*Tommy Wiseau has entered the chat*
However Lin-Manuel Miranda is not discriminating any group of people and he’s making it good and interesting and not wasting my life or money.
This guy is giving off "thin blue line" but assaults a cop to storm the capital vibes
I watched this movie, just to see why it was so bad.
My poor eyes will never recover, and if my wallet had hands, it would fucking beat me up for wasting my money on a movie so bad it made me want to curl up and stop hearing
Then I got halfway through this video, and literally curled up into a ball
I like how he Is sexist, racist, transphobic and to make matters worst he also adds stigma to DID and OSDD. Someone get this man
69Kokoro collecting all the ignorance like the dragon ball z balls i swear-
Kari's Small World...🎤GOTTA CATCH EM ALL...POKEMON!🎤 🤣🙄
I didn't mean It like that but okey sure i Guess xD
69Kokoro someone come collect their mans 😒
@@twix7490 Well sorry for not being from the US and not knowing all of the slang :v
For anyone who is wondering, the difference is when they acted like white chicks in the movie they acted rich and stuck up while this dude was acting ghetto, loud and impolite. Difference.
Yea they really stereotyped us in this trash ass movie
Plus in the movie the went undercover to SAVE those girls, not profit off of being white girls. Huge difference!
Difference between punching up and punching down
I don't think there's a difference in THAT part because it's still stereotyping but you're right about the other stuff 100%. This movie was unacceptable and degrading to many different social groups
And the fact that in White Chicks they tried to take on the personality of the women, they didn't go for a random stupid stereotype
I watch this review religiously at least once a month.
SAME I always come back and I don’t even know why
10:48 mac: now this is where it gets-
ad: delicious, light,
This movie is also offensive towards the DID/OSDD community. So let's add this up:
Transphobia
Racism
Ableism
Not funny
Stupid movie
10/10 hate this movie
And sexism. This man couldn’t ACCIDENTALLY do something right...
Also does your list just spell out trans
@@sarcasticfanstic I didn't even notice, that's...wild. I'm so trans that I am unintentionally spelling out trans in random comments...
@@JenIsHungry Troons?
Edit: Just looked it up, plenty of people care about trans folk dude.
@@JenIsHungry so my name is nobody now- _good to know. Have a hellish day, asshole._
It seems like he wrote this movie because he felt offended by the equality were working towards, just some really insecure man letting toxic masculinity and stupidity make his decisions
I know right for shame on us for wanting to be human beings😂👏🏼😭
Preach 💯
(sorry for being unoriginal and basic 😶)
George Aydin this is so accurate it's sad
remember guys! if someone is gay , or a different race that doesn’t mean its their personality or a trait of it. It can be culture of who their attracted too or just them being them :)
I've watched this video at least 20 times by now but I still laugh out loud when I listen to Mac's review of this desaster of a film. 😆
Why does his "black woman" voice sound like Mater from Cars?
I- I can't unhear it. Thank you I love it
Underrated comment
Don’t disrespect Mater like that 😔😔😂
It's a specific type of country accent. The whole time he just sounded like a normal guy from Alabama to me.
Don't do mater like that
The "blackfemale-ing you" line made me cringe so hard oh my god
Andrew Novak my soul left my body at that line
Did he think that line was clever??? Like someone end this man please
My butthole actually physically hurts
Tsuyu Asui Oh boi-
@@tsuyuasui2334 OMG Tsu?! Also same dude, same 😂
14:53 oh cmon man im tired of this damn stereotype they wonder why other people get annoyed when their doing shit like this.
"every female in this story was just used to further the main male character's storyline"
damn, just call this movie Hamlet
Hamlet is classic, this is not
How dare you compare this to Hamlet
In Hamlet, Ophelia, despite being a romantic interest, had a certain level of depth and was a complex character whose death was not only repercussive but also stole the scene. But in the case of these movie, they dont having a hint of individual personality, just one determined by the script so that he can move on.

As someone in video editing, I can tell you EXACTLY what that glow around his eyes is. It is the beauty filter in an editing software called DaVinci Resolve. If you crank up the eye light setting to the max, it gives that effect. You are supposed to use it very lightly on people with heavy shadows around their eyes (typically when filming outside during high noon). The filter is not used to get rid of features like eyebags or shadows but to instead soften them.
