- The defence for 4 of the accusd in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial have written to police requesting further particulars of charges.
Adv Teffo Malesela has indicated in documents that the former Bafana Bafana Captain's girlfriend Kelly Khumalo should have been arrested alongside the 5 accused in the matter.
He says an Affidavit deposed by the leading investigating officer in the first docket, Brigadier Gininda cited Khumalo as allegedly having planned the murder.
Teffo has also asked police for clarity regarding, why an alleged warrant for Khumalo's arrest, was not executed.

We as the concerned citizens of this country, we want that warrant of arrest to be effected with emmediate effect. It's actually long overdue because Kelly Khumalo was a girlfriend of Senzo Myeiwa and the mother to his child and they were together during the time of the shooting. How dare she says she doesn't know who shot the man while he was actually with her and her family members inside their house ? How possible ? Those people must not think we are stupid. Logically, a man can't be shot infront of you and you claim to not have seen a thing. Nonsense! She must be arrested to tell the truth in court because she deliberately refuse to tell the truth for a purpose . WHO IS THAT POLICE OFFICER WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO SIGN THE WARRANT ?
