@@thientuongnguyen2564 True, but it still made you feel just as on edge. You never knew when a row of parked cars would suddenly screech toward the middle of the road, or when a wrecking ball would swing out and sweep you off the course, or when a *freaking tower would come crashing down changing the route entirely.* It was controlled, yes, but it was still nothing short of chaos.

I love how this is the track that you _KNOW_ everything is going to shit, earth rising, hills crumblng, the road warping while youre still on it. This has to be my favorite track in the game, along side Aces High.
@@pardolagames8994 difference is in Split Second you can choose when things crumble down. In here you have no control over what's going to explode near you except guessing and hope you don't die from a storm of concrete rubble, part of the thrill.

You gotta love this racing game. The everchanging tracklayout, the sence of urgency, and the fitting soundtrack and the incredibly fast pace made this game one of may favorites. Many people swear on pacific rift but me personally i love apocalype just this tiny bit more.
I know what the middle soundtrack is, but I want the name of the final one. That specific mix of Electro and Orchestra just hit different. EDIT: Found it - "Klaus Badelt - Spazm (Elite Force MS:A Remix)"
This game is legendary. You could race any vehicle and be competitive on any track, even if its a monster truck on the roofs of skyscrapers. Lol. I miss the era where games were this fun and engaging and built with passion.
It really sucks how the devs are forced to work on nothing but NFS, and we know how well that's going so far with unbound. Meanwhile sony still owns the IP to motorstorm but wants to do nothing with it except making remasters for generic survival RPG "cinematic" games that aren't even over 5 years old upon release. We are quite literally stuck on the worst ending.

@innateornate Remember this, little MotorStormers: always take your edibles AFTER your race!
Gotta miss motorstorm man. Only franchise that could make a city on the verge of tearing itself apart into such an awesome racing game
Kinda wish more games would do that. With the technology we have now, it could be amazing!
I think Split/Second would like to have a word with you...

There's a lot more detail to this game than one would expect, like the engine headers glowing red-hot from near-overheating.

This HAS to be the most intense racing game in history
