Great Amp. They punch above their weight-class & Sound great. I bought the Rumble 100, and I love it with my Sterling Stingray short-scale bass. No more broken-back or Hernia ( just to play a gig ).
@@EdKlingenberger I did a great Set-up and a minor fret-end-file = it now plays like a custom shop. I'm just not Happy with the Tuners & want to Replace-em. Good luck with you New Bass . . . it's a killer !!! oNe LovE from NYC
Of course! The XLR out is one of the reasons why I got this amp instead of the Rumble 15 or Rumble 25. I usually mic it with a Shure SM7B and take the direct out at the same time.
I notice a lot of distortion with my Rumble 40 with my 5-string when playing the low B. I have everything at middle, master at 11 o'clock it gets even worse if I turn on the vintage setting.

Thanks for demoing the XLR out. I bought this amp specifically for that feature, so I can connect it directly into my audio interface for recording.
