Thanks for sharing this. Mine just conked out and I was wondering, what happened, as there was no good reason (or mistake on my part) for it to go ZZAP! I needed to resut the fuse box in the apartment too, LOL. Actually it's quite easy to replace the circuit board and after some time I even managed to find suppliers for the circuit board, EU and non EU. Now the question is, do I want to spend 80- 90 Euros to replace it myself, or claim the guarantee rights and have the whole machine replaced at no cost to myself, but which would leave me for about four weeks without a juicer. After having paid 1200 Euros for a machine one would like it to last and just get on with it, really... I still think this is the best juicer i have ever had, albeit it sucks with fruit like pineapple or anything else that is very juicy, even with the wide mesh sleeve. But as you say, the cost and the result/service do not really correlate. None of the shops where I can buy this juicer, sell the spare parts. They actually send the machine back to Korea. I live in Germany. To get spare parts I have to order them from Tchechnya or the Ukraine. How stupid is that? And isn't it weird that these two companies specialise in selling - wait for it - circuit boards and switches for the Angel Juicer series! Seems they can good business with these. 'nuff said...
Mmmm.. Tks for sharing, you seemed sincere; I'm making a sacrifice to buy one of this units, I just wrote them.... if I don't get a satisfactory response, I won't buy the unit and will go for a different brand for one third of the price and close enough quality, THANKS AGAIN FOR SHARING...God Bless!

JuiceWithPhil Yeah, you'll find neither clean as quickly as the omega which is a factor you must consider. The Angel would be the way to go if you wanted to leave it out on the kitchen worktop (assuming you have a nice kitchen), everything else does look cheap in comparison.

Can you tell what you got? I got my doubts about Angel even with 10 year warranty on internals/ motor

Green star pro hasn't ever jammed in the 4 years I've had it. I have seen a few used but dead Angel Juicer 5500 for sale.
