This video explains how to construct a model of a geodesic dome from card and paper. Some dome history and theory is also included. A good resource for teaching structures and mechanisms.
Thank you so much for this instruction video. We were discussing the how difficult it would be to build and live in a dome. We have decided to design and build a dog house for our pup based on the instructions and formulas you provided. Your video is extremely informative and organized. We really appreciate that you have shared your knowledge.
Great video, very well executed.
Wish they did this in Maths/Science classes when I was at school!
An excellent demo to make a scaled model. Thanks
Explains the concept so clearly my 7 year old grandaughter (&me) could understand it and create a model.
Excellent!
Muchisimas gracias!!! Excelente material, didactico, educativo...impresionante!!
I've become addicted to Hila Road.
El video es muy bueno y completo.
Construiré algunos de esta manera.
I watch all your videos, great stuff!!!..thank you

That's pretty nifty. You post some very interesting videos.
Thanks for the video :) Can't wait to have a house with a garden to build a giant one :>
Thank you for this video
Most excellent - thank you !
Fantastic video; Very educational.
THANKS SO MUCH I REALLY LIKE THIS VIDEO I wish there was more of this quality on youtube. One suggestion, add more math at the end...is this the same math for different number of tiers and so on. THANKS!
How do you tell what the angle of the tabs are if this structure were to be made of a hard substance? Great video
Very Amazing how you make all these cool creations, such as the Sun Measuring device, to the Lemon Battery, to this.
You would make an awesome science teacher, and I bet you would get a reward for it!
Nice job!

Thank you! It is very clear. How would you make domes with more frequencies?Since the only way to make a larger dome using your method would be to make the sides of the triangles longer.
Very informative thanhs
Awesome video! 5 stars!
well presented
thanks for the vid! i am making a dome out of wood.. but this helps a lot! i can figure the rest out from seeing this!
very nice vid!
I want to make one of those things
is it possible to do this without the use of glue?
Thank you, Great info.
wouldn't a hexagon offer more strength than a pentagon?
Cool, thanks for post!!!

I LOVE THIS VIDEO!!!! I'LL TO DO IT MYSELF
