I used to work construction in California, and the food was one of the things I loved about working with Mexican crews! (that, and they knocked out the work so fast!
One school I was building, the Drywall subcontractor sent two crews out one Monday. The Mexican crew was assigned one side of a hallway, and the white guy union journeyman crew was assigned the other side of the hallway.
The white guys started out laughing at the Mexicans and blathering about how they were going to show them how it was done and would be way ahead of them.
Then they started getting their bespoke tools and benches and supplies out and properly arranged, got their bags loaded with screws, and then they began to get ready to hang their first sheet of drywall.
The Mexicans had already hung the first 6 sheets, and fully screwed off, and mud being applied...
The Mexican crew got their side of the hallway finished by the end of the day, while the white guys were now totally silent, and about half way down the hall.
The white guys didn't show up on Tuesday, they told their boss that they didn't want to work with the Mexicans anymore and were put on a nice safe garage remodel job, and meanwhile the Mexicans went back and repaired the mistakes the white guys made, and finished the rest of the hallway mid morning! Lol
I was the forklift operator on the site, and I had a hard time keeping up with getting units of drywall set for them they worked so fast!
Now, I know not all white guys suck that bad (I AM a white guy after all lol), but after all the smack they were talking, I was happy to see them totally dominated!

Had some heavy rain that put an end to work late morning. So after I had half the Funyuns in the parking lot, I headed home to share the rest with my wife. When you work construction, it isn't every day that you get to share a lunch with the woman you love more than anything in the world.
I walked into the bedroom, said it was a half day due to weather, held out the bag of Funyuns and the hot dog, and told her that after she got onion breath the best palette cleanser was "The White Monster that I can pull out when I get a free hand".
Now I am eating course 3 on the davenport with an extra pillow and blanket that she threw at me after yelling that she wants none of my hot dog and I can enjoy it by myself tonight. I was hungry still so I am eating it all right now, but apparently she isn't planning on anything for dinner so I am going save course 4 and her half of the Funyuns for this evening.
