I just got the diamond weapon barding, I’ve had such a hard time learning the fight and getting the courage to start creating my own party finders without any help from my FC. When I got the material drop while dragon farming I had one of my friend’s in game craft the barding. Whenever I look at it on my Snow White chocobo Shanaynay, I’m reminded that I’m capable of so much more than I thought and I have in game friends that are there for me :)
The best barding is the one you have pride in and worked hard for!

For people who doesn't know,
The Soot Black and the Snow White color isn't guaranteed even if you give the Chocobo the proper meals. So don't get discouraged if you don't get the aforementioned colors. Keep feeding it the right meals and you'll eventually get it :)

Man getting royal purple from the default color was a marathon and a half but at least I was able to get it even if I did mess up on a few but still got the right color.
I saw someone had Reveler's Barding and I just to drop everything I was doing MSQ wise and went to buy it
Soot black is pretty good color to use for your chocobo considering black is a good undersuit color overall. Some bardings don’t have enough armor and the default yellow doesn’t blend in well with it.
Chocobo is not our mount, its our COMPANION! :-)
You don't even need to do anything to get that initial company seals to get the Chocobo. You get more than enough seals to get the certificate as a reward for completing "Wood's will be done" MSQ. it's a lvl 20 quest, so you will get it at the same time My little Chocobo becomes available.

I think it's time to improve Chocobo ranks. Mine is 20 since aRR. Time to have new skills like Choco Raise ou maybe a Limit ChocoBreak! 😂
2k hours in of training every chance I got, and my chocobo is still only level 18. Sounds pretty intense to have it at 20.
@@edgarlarios4718 Trained it every hour at stables. i mean, EVERY FUCKING HOUR WHILE I WAS ONLINE! Also complete the challenge log every week. It took a lot of effort but worth it. As a solo player, he is my best friend and my healer! Besides It's really rare to see rank 20 chocobos even nowadays. Keep up the training and you get 20 soon! 😀

I love chocobos im even breeding two racing chocobo lines a white one and a black one they're both at pedigree 5 and are already 44444 just need to level them up to pedigree 10 now :)

@@Mirranda096 I think the chest piece is the : Obsolete Android's Halfrobe of Casting and the head piece is the Thavnairian Headdress. Hope it helped :)

Chocobos are friend (and occasional emergency food) not mount! We should leave them frolicking as companion instead of slavery as mount!

Sadly and frustratingly no apartments or housing available on Jenova. ESO implements instanced housing with no issues why is it so hard for SE? So there's no way to change color. Shame SE doesn't implement some form of public stable especially since there are overworld stables already in game.

Elder Scrolls Online's housing system is suberb. I wish FFXIV would take some notes from it.

You can get an apartment, which is always available

naaah the first 300 company seals are free as a reward within MSQ; not a single fate is required to farm
That wasn't true for me, but I just started playing four days ago. Maybe they changed it.

Exactly, they give you the best mount in the game at level 20, why bother farming trials for inferior birds. chocobos are the one true steed i would ride into battle
