Wow, I just realized you ARE Annie Sloan! I'm been watching you since I decided blend dark purple to light lavender, then pearl glaze it. My first furniture attempt. I did a good job choosing who to learn from, Annie Sloan! lol
lol!
Happy 30th Annie 🙏🏼🇦🇺
Happy 30th! You're the best! Annie Sloan paint, is everything. Grateful to you. 😊👍🎨🌠
Thank you so much 😀
This looks so beautiful Annie. I definitely will be trying this. Thanks for sharing.❤️🌹
I should have the colour cards instead of scrolling. It is so much easier when deciding what colours to buy. Any other old souls in here?🎨
Ooooh that's gorgeous! Like nail polish for furniture! I need me some of that! 😍
What an amazing creation! Simply geogriousy!🥰
Thank you Annie❤
love her and i could listen to her speak all day adorable
looks absolutely gorgeous ❤
Love it. Can't wait to get some, soon. Thank you.
It is gorgeous I could probably paint it on my nails 💅..a lot healthier ingredients for my nails, as it is water based, than any nail varnish that destroyed my nails!
I love it can't wait to get some.💜
Annie, you're so beautiful inside and outside! I enjoy learning from you!
Oh thank you so much! I am pleased you are enjoying the tutorials!
Couldn't have said it any better :)
I have ordered two pots of it. Can't wait to use it today on my feature wall for my CZcams channel.
Sounds wonderful. Thank you!
Looks a dream
I love shiny things! On my cottage I decided to use the glaze over pure white to do my 19th century window frame! it's old but yet no signs of wear so why change it? Already did the white and now I am applying lacquer. How much time do you think I should wait before applying the glaze, after the 2nd hand of lacquer had dried?
I have the old color charts, I am sure things have changed. Thank you my dear.
You are so welcome
Lovely video ..the Glaze i lovely ...not too shiney ...😍 Uk
Thank you Angela! So glad you like it!
Two words: Mermaid dresser
I am going to chalk paint my vinyl bathroom floor, then lacquer, can I use this next?
Annie my g
Me gusta mucho 😍
¡Muchas gracias!
Que pena que no esté subtitulado en español.... veo todos los vídeos con el traductor en la mano.
Is this stumble glaze and when you say lacquer do you mean varnish
You just gained a new client
Thank you!
Hello Ms.Annie, can pitch black glaze be applied on red chalk paint, and should I apply it with a brush or roller.? P. S. new at this... what kind of effect will it have on the piece? thanks, will appreciate your opinion.
I don't use tinted glazes (other than my Pearlescent Glaze) on any of my paintwork. In this case I would prefer to use my Black Chalk Paint® Wax instead as I can both adjust the color or look of my piece and seal it at the same time!
Lindo!
Gracias!
Hi can you use pearl glaze over a your matt topcoat to put a stencil on the corners of a coffee table that has Paris grey wash
Yes, you can. That sounds like a lovely idea. I imagine it will be beautiful. Enjoy your painting!
Can I do fabric, curtains with this on its own to get that pearl look?
It's possible, but you might find it makes the fabric a bit stiff. Why not consider hand painting or stenciling a pattern on your curtains using the Pearlescent Glaze.
I love this product but I don’t think I would use it on funriture ... I’m not sure I could get my head around shimmery funriture ?
It's definitely a statement look, not always for everyone. - Amy W
Hi Annie did you paint the bottles first with a base chalk paint
I didn't. They were painted with the Pearlescent Glaze that had been tinted first with just a bit of paint. I used Florence, Antibes Green, and Aubusson Blue.
Hi again, can you finish a coffee table with pearlescent glaze do I need to do anything
after
Can I use it on wood, without using a color first? Just to emphasize the wood.
You can and I think it would look lovely.
@@AnnieSloanHome Hi Annie, I am definitely interested in this product. You mentioned it was durable and also for interior use only. Do you feel this product is washable? I am a professional painter and looking for a nice finish for my customers' furniture pieces and I think this is it.. Thank you in advance.
Can polycrylic be used over the pearl glaze?
Hello Harriett! The Pearlescent Glaze has the same properties as the Lacquer, so there is no need to use a polycrylic over it!
@@AnnieSloanHome ok great!
Can Pearlescent Glaze be used on upholstery?
If you are looking to change the colour of your upholstery then I would not recommend using our Pearlescent Glaze as it has little pigment in it.
Please were can I get this
Check with your local Annie Sloan Stockist to see if they have it in stock. You can find your nearest Stockist here: www.anniesloan.com/stockists/#/
Can you add metallics?
What an interesting idea. We do not offer a metallic paint but you could experiment with another brand of water-based metallic paint.
Can Pearlescent glaze be used over other paints (ie: acrylic or latex) besides chalk paint using stencils?
I love A.S. paints - but does it give anyone else anxiety watching her dip her brush from one color to the next without rinsing/changing brushes??? 😂
Haha! I actually love that chance blending of more than one color.
Need to get me some things to paint 😂
I thought this was a glaze. But it is simply paint.
Cant even see your color samples your speaking about. Zoom in on the paint. Even your picture frame you held at an angle from the camera
So sorry! Pearl is very reflective and it is difficult to show it properly on camera. Was there a particular color you wanted to see?
no it isn't
