Haha Yeah, it definitely sounds like that ever few times that it pronounces it--usually after a word ending in "e". I've been fighting the AI on that, but I need Sarah Connor's help if I'm going to win.

Yeah so far so good. I started a new story, based on the Deathworlder Idea, except Humanity is the only know spacefaring Deathworld species in the Galaxy. Same basic premise as this in that Humans come to the rescue of a species they barely know, recently after first contact. And for altruistic reasons (of course). Havent got any further than that thoug... I have so many beginings and never any endings... lol

It's a good story but I despise logic flaws.
The humans did not bring violence back to the galaxy. That was the Krylak, who didn't know about humans who want peace but prepare for war to keep peace.

Nice story. Universaly accepted political decision is something similar to unicorn (generaly known parameters, but was not, and wont be among us ever. I can immagine "united Terran gowernment" would decide about intervention, but there is more than 120 states on the globe and therefore 120+ chances to hinder the intervention...
These stories are so interesting! It is interesting how China is always mentioned. It is interesting how all alien armadas are always defeated by unknown superiority of “human” superiority. It is interesting how boring, formulaic and lame all these stories are. Is this really what the Chinese believe? If so they are doomed!!!

Are you aware of what you’re listening to? Do you know that HFY stands for “Humans F*ck 🤬 Yeah‼️” These stories are almost all from a Reddit HFY thread, where authors of varying skill and aptitude share their stories. This (to me) was a well written and the voice was flawless. (You would’ve heard words like “Would Vee” if it wasn’t edited.) Instead of blaming the channel that you didn’t like or understand the premise of, why not look at other stories from different SyFy threads?

@@Sci-FiVault - LOL!, Not the definition I would have used but yes. To me, it is a style (Reddit thread) where humans always win, showing humans as we would hope would be like in the future. That said, given human diversity, humans could easily be the attackers, pirates, the evil corporations in these stories. LOL!
@@Sci-FiVault - Anytime! Humorous take on HFY, but I like it! I’ve always wondered when listening to these, if humans wouldn’t sometimes be the aggressors. If Russia wants Ukraine, they are trying to take it. I could see the same attitudes in space.

We've got lots of stories about dudes on the channel too, some really cool ones at that! The Remnant Angels series could be worth checking out, those came out before the channel blew up. :)
Why is the UN meeting in Washington, DC?
I thought that was interesting as well, since they've got all that stuff in NYC, but maybe the future this story was set in has them in DC.
Or maybe it was an emergency meeting? I dunno, I still enjoyed this story though. :)
....the author didnt know the UN is and always has been in NYC....
Hearing the US and female soldiers just turned me off,
Have to say these ships in the view are quite nice, different from so many copies usually spammed and have an honestly nice touch.
Thanks! I fiddle with the AI software I use for the image creation here to try and make stuff that stands out and is different--takes a lot of work to make it give me unique stuff sometimes! :)
