    Quiz: www.registerednursern.com/sin...
    Notes: www.registerednursern.com/sin...
Sinus tachycardia is a type of heart rhythm arising from the SA node that is fast but regular.
The SA node is known as the pacemaker of the heart and normally keeps the heart beating at a rate between 60-100 bpm. If the p-waves are normal - each with a normal QRS complex - and it is regular, this is referred to as normal sinus rhythm.
However, if the SA node is firing rapidly and creates a rate greater than 100 bpm-160/180 this is called sinus tachycardia.
On the flip side, if it is firing slowly at a rate less than 60 that
    is referred to as bradycardia.

Hello Nurse Sarah! Thank you for your generous gift of sharing your knowledge! This is one of the most selfless gifts that I have ever received. When I was first introduced to your videos.. I had my credit card in hand to make a payment lol... I just knew the video was going to cut off and require payment! I quickly learned that these videos were gifts! Thank you so much! You broke those concepts down to bite sized understandable pieces! I am forever grateful! I graduated May 13th 2022 and you can continue to know that God is using you to do the greatest gift ever! April M. RN [claiming it :)]

Hello, Sara. I discovered your channel from my little brother currently in nursing school. I graduated in 2009 and took the NCLEX for the first time on April 30th this year and I passed because of you. Thank you so much for all that you do! God bless you!

I'm doing pretty good in med surg but I recently got busy and had fewer days to study for my recent test. Usually, I read the whole chapters and then watch some youtube videos with whatever time is left (which is usually not much). With fewer days to study for this test, I didn't have time to read my book as much as I usually do. I skimmed the chapters (just read the boxes and charts really) and then just took notes from your videos (as well as a few others, but mostly you). I felt like I would do bad on the test because I didn't read the book as much as I usually do. It turns out I tied my best grade, even with studying fewer days than I usually do! I think I figured out the best way to study now ;)
