    Bradycardia Quiz: www.registerednursern.com/sin...
In this lecture, you'll learn how to analyze an ECG strip to determine whether sinus bradycardia is present. Specifically, you'll analyze the P wave, QRS complex, T wave, PR interval, QT interval, ST segment, and so on.
You'll also learn the nurse's role when dealing with a patient with sinus bradycardia, such as medications that are commonly used, assessments to perform, and more.
Learning the causes for sinus bradycardia is also important, and some examples can be due to sick sinus syndrome, old age, hyperkalemia, and many more.
Pacemakers are sometimes used in patients with sinus bradycardia, as well as other interventions.

I’ve had Afib back in July and was hospitalized overnight and when I was prescribed Atenolol, it caused me to have sinus bradycardia and my cardiologist prescribed me MulTaq which prevents Afib and keeps my heart at a normal rhythm. By the way my Apple Watch has an EKG on it and I use it every once in a while to make sure my heart is not out of rhythm.

I took a tilt table test last week after years of infrequent fainting spells. With in 2 minutes of being lifted to 70 degrees (without any medicine given) I started feeling light headed and has shortness of breath got pale had a cold sweat and went into a bradycardia tail spin with a heart rate of 14 at the low point. I am going back to my cardiologist in 2 weeks, the waiting is killing me. What could this condition be called?

Please make more videos about different diseases and also medical videos for premed students.🩷🙏🪄
