In this lecture, you'll learn how to analyze an ECG strip to determine whether sinus bradycardia is present. Specifically, you'll analyze the P wave, QRS complex, T wave, PR interval, QT interval, ST segment, and so on.
You'll also learn the nurse's role when dealing with a patient with sinus bradycardia, such as medications that are commonly used, assessments to perform, and more.
Learning the causes for sinus bradycardia is also important, and some examples can be due to sick sinus syndrome, old age, hyperkalemia, and many more.
Pacemakers are sometimes used in patients with sinus bradycardia, as well as other interventions.

I’ve had Afib back in July and was hospitalized overnight and when I was prescribed Atenolol, it caused me to have sinus bradycardia and my cardiologist prescribed me MulTaq which prevents Afib and keeps my heart at a normal rhythm. By the way my Apple Watch has an EKG on it and I use it every once in a while to make sure my heart is not out of rhythm.
i’m 15 i just need a head start on my way to begin a good cardiac surgeon career
You should really go for it!❤
Thanks
One of our family member aged between 85-90...collapsed.... We took her to hospital where pulse came 28....cpr given at home and again in hospital..... Kept on temporary pacemaker for 2-3 days... Oxygen levels were also low upto 88....now she recovered.... Since 1 month she z fine.... Doctor said it was a complete heart block.... I want to know... Can it be repeated again in future.... Or what is the frequency.??
Is 80 bpm good.
I took a tilt table test last week after years of infrequent fainting spells. With in 2 minutes of being lifted to 70 degrees (without any medicine given) I started feeling light headed and has shortness of breath got pale had a cold sweat and went into a bradycardia tail spin with a heart rate of 14 at the low point. I am going back to my cardiologist in 2 weeks, the waiting is killing me. What could this condition be called?
Hey! I hope you are doing well! Any updates?
Is sinus arrhythmia serious?
Good day greetings
Can blood pressure meds make the heart beat slow?
I was told yes, channel blockers and beta blockers
And sleep apnea
I have sinus bradyardythmia, should I be concerned? 😢
First!! ❤❤❤
I'm suffering from this
When I saw you have made a video about my assignment's topic, bradycardia, I felt a sense of relief as I don't have to oversearch anymore and can relax and know everything I should know about this topic ❤ Thank you. Please make more videos about different diseases and also medical videos for premed students.🩷🙏🪄
