Getting to the Yarra Valley from Melbourne is surprisingly straight forward, the Yarra Valley is just an hour away from Melbourne's centre and is like a completely different place all together! The region has more than 160 wineries and given the cool climate they tend to do a lot of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Cabernet. Like we said in the video though, the Yarra Valley has so much more going on than just wine!

Yarra Valley has been my favourite place to drive through when I was back home in Melbourne. Coldstream, Yering, and Yarra Glen on a spring and summer day is magic. Don't forget to go to Belgrave and get on puffing Billy and Phillip Island for the penguins. Healesville too. It has one of the best gin distilleries in the country called 4 pillars and the animal sanctuary.

I’ve only been to Melbourne twice but it’s most definitely my favourite city in Australia. Next time I go back I’d love to visit Yarra Valley. I will definitely be doing this tour!

I done a tree change from South Yarra to the Yarra Valley 12 years ago and we are still exploring new wineries, restaurants and bakeries. It’s one stunning piece of Victoria to call home……..for now!

You went to all my fav places. The Yarra Valley is wheee I head to for special occasions and just a day out. I’m glad you discovered it’s not just about the wines. There’s so much to do. My most favourite thing is sitting outside at Chandon, enjoying a wine and looking at the view over the vineyard. I hope you tried the Persian feta at Yarra Valley dairy? That’s to die for!!
Ohhh the Persian feta at Yarra Valley dairy was amazing! Glad you've found it's a lot more than just wine as well, we loved seeing a different side to a place that we'd always kind of just assumed was for wine lovers only
We enjoyed our time in Yarra Valley. Our cousins took us there and we enjoyed the wine and the food and a few kangaroos . Not too far from the outskirts of Melbourne.

Craig was such an incredible guide, made the day perfect! Have to admit, we definitely felt a little tipsy, but that just added to the magic of seeing the roo's at the end!
