- Today we're reviewing some of West Paw's most popular puzzle feeder dog toys. West Paw is a pretty popular brand -- but is it worth the hype? Let's find out!
Where to Get Your Own:
Toppl - bit.ly/3lJK3SG (my top rec)
Tux - alnk.to/3U0OJn7
Qwizl - alnk.to/7BeJkw3
I bought a West paw topple in a panic because I lost my dogs Kong in my house. I was having company over and giving her something to do helps her stay calm with people over, even if she knows them. I don't have a dish washer and was super impressed with how easy it was to clean compared to her Kong. She loves it! 10/10 would recommend!!!
Yes! The Topple is awesome, my new favorite puzzle toy for sure
Thank you!!!
I'll buy the toppls over the classic Kong any days so much easier to clean.
The tux is a little disappointing with how fast my dog ate it.
Qwizl with a cheese stick is a super easy in pinch thing to out together. Doesn't last as long as if filled with frozen; but sometimes I'm not great and planning in advance.
Yeah it’s amazing how much easier it is to clean! And I agree the Tux isn’t my fav - I do like it can handle more liquidy stuff though. The cheese stick inside the Qwizl is genius, I’m definitely going to try that sometime!
Oh damn why didn't I think of a cheese stick. What a good idea. Thank you!
We just bought one and love it
They’re awesome, I’m a huge fan!
Great review! Does Remi have a favorite? My dog has two toppl’s and I’m deciding what to get him next
When it comes to puzzle toys he loves them all. But the Toppl is my favorite because it's just easier to clean ;)
Thanks for the review on the puzzle toys. In Europe, Westpaws toys are incredibly expensive. I bought the Qwizl and think about getting the Toppl but my god, the cost. And the Kong doesn't work super well because it only lasts more than a minute when frozen, and then my dog just waits till its thawed, and with "wait" I mean "plans other mischief".
One question about your dog. Did he just calm down on his own? My puppy is 6 months and everybody says they chew less after teething... Meanwhile, mine has entered a total destroyer phase.
That's frustrating they are so expensive there! Sounds like your pup has really figured it out, haha. Maybe you can try stuffing a bully stick or something in the Kong's mush while it's freezing to make it more irresistible and too tasty to ignore? Petsafe has some good frozen eating toys too I believe.
My dog is five now and he has chilled out a bit, but he's still very chompy and loves to chew and cause mischief when he's bored.
@@K9ofMine Thanks again for the answer!
The idea with the bully stick I also had, and freezing a bully stick into it really works well. Then she is interested enough to also work on it when frozen, while otherwise she often just leaves it.
I hope she calms down a bit. She has a lot of things like nylabones or antlers, but I have to constantly take them away and rotate them to keep her interested, and I would really love to have something that occupies her while I leave her alone. The Kong tire (I think it's called Kong traxx) works well for us.
One more question, sorry - which age did your dog calm down?
@@tterexx426 I think he started to calm down around 3? Honestly he's still kind of a lot 😅
@@K9ofMine Thank you again! Well, he is cute a lot, too!
These are pricey!! One day hopefully soon tho
They are definitely not cheap! Not for nothing though- def really nice quality
