Super Flugzeug! Gratuliere! Ich habe gelesen, wie schwierig es war dieses Flugzeug zu bauen. Würde ich jünger sein, würde ich ihnen Kopien der Pläne abkaufen und ebenso die Focke Wulf nachbauen. Habe in der Nähe von Linz an der Donau zusehen dürfen, wie eine Arado 96 Schulmaschine von einem pensionierten Bauern nachgebaut wurde. Das Ding fliegt inzwischen tadellos. Eine echt schöne Maschine. Kann man auf CZcams googeln. Grüße aus Österreich 🇦🇹!

Als Kind habe ich von Areafix ein klebemodell aus Plastik. Mein Vater hatte es an die Decke mit Nähfaden gehängt. War bunt und sah sehr echt aus, aber eine Messerschmitt.
Ein Freund hatte mal so ein kleines Plastikmodell als Verkehrsmadschine nur zusammengeklebt mit Silvesterkracher. Die Brocken flogen etwa /20/ Meter weit.
Es gab mal kleine Kanonen und wir hatten dann die winzigen Kracher rein gemacht /Judofurz/ nannten wir sie und haben dann auf Areafix Soldaten geschossen die umfielen.
Heute gibts Dronen mit echter Munition. Und nicht vom Militär.
Es gab mal den Film ,,balauer Maritzis'' Das war eine extrem seltene Briefmarke. Da hat einer mal mit eine kleinen Propellermaschine ein ferngesteuertes Flugzeug im Flug gekoppt und es war abgestürzt.
Würde ich mit einem echten Kleinflugzeug mitgenommen werden, würde ich mir immer den Funk zeigen lassen, falls dem Pilot schlecht würde oder er stirbt :-)

I envy you. :) I can only fly the Simulator model (X-Plane - Focke-Wulf FW190A6). I noticed you've had some trouble with the steering, can you not lock the tail wheel like on the original one? It took me a while to get used to it but it is all good now. I'd love to see this one day, on my bucket list. Enjoy and share your videos please.

A nice effort but it seems to be reluctant to fly. The takeoff roll is nice and straight and the tail comes up early but it seems to lack speed or enough lift to fly off. A pretty firm yank on the stick gets it airborne but I'm sure the pilot was on pins and needles. At least it didn't tip-stall.
The landing was nicely set up but it plunked down pretty hard. The pilot must be congratulated for a getting through this without a scratch.
It doesn't strike me as something pleasant to fly but it will sure look nice in a museum.
Not "reluctant to fly" but geometry. One issue the 190 had was nil forward visibility on the ground, WWII pilots weaved back and forth to see where they "weren't going" to approximate where they were. It must have been difficult on a wide grass airfield, on narrow taxiways, hats off to the man.
There used to be a beautiful 1/3 scale FW190 on the British airshow scene some years ago. I wonder what happened to it.

Wie bekommt man es hin, ein solches Flugzeug in Eigenregie zu bauen, es ist doch sicher sehr viel Ingenieurwissen nötig, um so etwas auf die Beine bzw. auf das Fahrwerk zu stellen, ich selbst bin von der modellfliegenden Zunft und der Adenalinspiegel ist bei jedem Erstflug kaum auszuhalten, obwohl Welten zwischen einem Modell und einem manntragenden Flugzeug liegen, ich kann nur sagen Daumen hoch und alle Achtung.
Ich war bei der Bundeswehr als Flugzeugmechaniker Meister tätig. Das hat natürlich sehr geholfen. Beim Fahrwek hat mich die Firma Mayer aus Bruchsal unterstützt. Aber ingesamt war es schon eine große Herausforderung. Vielen Dank für Deine Nachricht. Grüße Peter

Does anyone notice him having a helluva time taxing. Lots of power, back and forth.
At the beginning of the taxi, he is experimenting to see how much rudder authority he has. Knowing this is critical to a safe taxi. Next, long-nosed tail-draggers (P-51s, Corsairs, etc) do not permit the pilot to see straight ahead while taxing; hence the pilot uses the rudder and throttle to taxi back and forth, allowing the pilot to see around the nose so as to follow the taxiway or other aircraft. Accidents have occurred wherein the airplane chews-up the tail of the one in front of him.
4325air I understand the tail wheel visibility issue, I have four of which 2 I cannot see over the nose. It just looked like the brakes are dragging with as much power he used just to taxi. One of my airplanes is a Radial Rocket with the exact same engine and propeller combinations.

Hat es eigentlich einen Grund, daß bei Erstflügen eigentlich nie das Fahrwerk eingezogen wird ? Ich meine; dessen Funktion wird ja sicher auch vorher geprüft worden sein, oder ?
Gibt es dazu internationale Bestimmungen - oder ist es am Ende vielleicht ein Aberglaube unter Flugzeugbauern ?

In den letzten Minuten sieht man die 2 Bremsklötze, die sind auf der falschen Seite :-)) Sollte sich das Flugzeug bewegen, bewegt es sich zum Gebäude hin, statt vom Gebäude weg. Es könnte zum Gebäude hin Schaden nehmen. Würde das linke Rad gebremst, würde sich das Flugzeug vom Gebäude weg bewegen und würde kein ,,Schaden'' nehmen. Wer den Bremsklotz gelegt hat, hat die Auswirkung nicht bedacht.
Hinten am Segelflug-Anhänger sieht aus wie ein Rolls Royce. Bestimmt der dem das Motorflugzeug gehört?
Ist zwar Tod bringend, aber wenn Kampfflugzeuge nach unten stürzten hört man in Filmen immer wie sie annfangen zu summen. Vermutlich wegen der höheren Drehzahl. Das finde ich ein faszinierendes Geräsch. Aber eben es brachte den Tod.
