I need a series of Mike F giving us all recommendations for tools for people who don’t hire other people to take care of their yard! I love working in the yard, but needs some better tools!
Always have appreciated and liked Mike in the past, and now I absolutely love his sarcasm! This series has been entertaining thus far.
I’m literally crying laughing. When mike called true value and the lady started adding numbers and he go “oh boy” I lost it.
Mike and Mike are the best team! I love how Mike F. cracks on Matty, those guys are good friends.
Need all the Mikes in one video having a conversation and saying Mike at the end of every sentence.
"she's gotta put her teeth in"😂😂
This guy is hilarious
Everyone needs a Mike F. in their life.
I have the same wheelbarrow, albeit Kobalt branded from Lowes...no complaints so far. It has been solid for 5 years of heavy homeowner use, including concrete and crushed stone. If it needs replacement at some point, I'll track down the Miller one that Mike likes.
Exactly what I said, his a man of many talents and amazing to learn from.
It's actually a pretty good wheelbarrow. We were just having some fun with trying to find my favorite one.
@@MikeFigueira Keep up the great work Mike, you're a natural on camera!
Great video. Dig this guy's wit.
New series idea, Mike & Mike. On their struggles to find working man tools and equipment in retirement home laden Florida. Work & Walks as many as you can handle. Lmao
these are by far my new favorite videos!!!! Hell yeah Mikes keep it up
these are excellent. i love this style of video. mike and mike are a great team.
You're a legend Mike F. we love to see it!
Back in my junior college days I worked for OSH in San Ramon CA , we had the Miller's, when guy would come in and want one I knew that they knew their shit lol at the winery we got some old Miller's gotta be from to 60s lol
How many times can this guy say Mike in a video? Wow!
Haha... well he is Mike
No, he's saying 'mic', talking to the microphone. 🎙 🤪
Nice work on those concrete cut-outs. I always get a laugh whenever I see someone hauling their crap with orange straps. And NEVER drive behind them! lol
Watching a master craftsman is truly entertaining!
Supervisor shows up at 27:22 🤣🤣🤣
Really interesting to see the cracks in the bottom of the slab at the control joints where the cuts are. Really shows the importance of control joints, so you don’t see huge cracks in the top of the slab.
Mike F. since you have taken over the CZcams OG channel please do us all a favour and put some content up on Hex platform as we haven't seen a new video there for weeks! Many thanks!
Weeks...? It's been a few days.
Nice to see quality work being performed
Mike is a class act!
He's got my dream truck too! Would like to see some videos on that
Mike F will love it here, everything is made outta concrete and rebars. 😆
Florida Legend Mike F.
Need more content like this!!
Tons and tons more coming!
Mike knows his stuff
Excellent, Excellent content. Learning a lot. Got me making sure the Bank Account is full for my Garage MakeOver Plans come Spring. My son and I deserve a better place to do work.
I love you Mike! Keep making more videos~~
Mike F is great his humor and his knowledge
This should have been titled "How to buy an O.G. Spec Wheelbarrow (and fail!).
LOL.
A recessed lift is on my wish list, but won’t happen for a bit. Appreciate the vids homies.
8 mo and the lady puttin her teeth in is still funny, thanks mike
I could listen to Mike all say knows his suff
Thats for a heavy duty homeowner right there, Mike.
35% of the video was just hunting for a wheel barrel.
best part by far lol
20% of your statement doesn't describe what they were hunting.
274704 hahah, really loving the content from Mike F.
I've never seen those handles made out of wood. In Finnish we call the barrows you're looking for a "concretebarrows"=betonikottikärryt
When I was a boss for my construction company I had young kids do what you guys did, fucked off half a day looking for nothing and end up with pos wheelbarrow in the end lmao
I was thinking the same, it might be a nice tool, but hourly we could have bought a few of the between fuel and man hours 😂 video makes up for that though
Mike: 272404….lady: 2747.. 💀💀💀
Mike F baby !!!!! Playah!!
Dammit 272404. You mean 284098123?
Mike! 💪🏼🎉🙌🏼
Why didn’t you get the rebar on the first Home Depot trip?
The Ace Hardware guy looked like Stan Lee.
2763081 😂😂😂
Got me goin 😂😂😂
Gotta get the Milwaukee re bar tie rapper!
Last?
They must not have Northern Tool in Lady Lake 😂
Would there be any instance when you would dowel into the existing slab?
You really always should. But as Mike said, when you’re doing a step down, he would have had to cut way back and pour a multi level pour with the existing slab to remain at the same level as some of the new slab, and then the recessed areas. And then, to do it right, you’d have to double 45 the rebar so it was continuous at the top and bottom level. Or another similar detail.
But.
The existing slab had no rebar anyway (looks like WWF, or chicken wire as it’s referred to). So he’s already going above what’s there. And it was far easier to go underneath to key it in as he did. Plus, since the load is static in one spot, it should be ok. If the existing slab doesn’t crack with the cars driving on it and the load only distributed across 4 parches the size of your hand, poring a reinforced footer for the lift where each portion of the lift is somewhere around 8 to 10 square feet, he’ll be fine.
Oh, and Mike F, I’m surprised you didn’t look for plastic chairs when you couldn’t find blocks. Probably would have been easy to find? Should be, anyway. I rarely see blocks used, all my contractors use chairs for 95%, and really only use blocks / brick when there’s a big junction of rebar, like at a corner.
@@joetacchino4470 thanks Joe!
@@joetacchino4470 Excellent explanation, pretty much my thought process for this.
wait!! No fiberglass rebar?? lol... Jk Good work Mike..
Too bad OSH is gone!
Matt needs to get a power tool for this 26:38
damn you're getting scammed on wheelbarrows over there :D had to double check but yup all the ones they sell here are all steel :D
Ace was the place. ..
Your in Florida what do you expect! Besides if you dig to deep the state will sink, we can only hope!
This wheelbarrow exchange makes me think you now have an excuse to get a front loader of some sort...
Good thinking, let me talk with Matt ha ha
Do you guys live in a giant retirement home in the shape of a town
take a shot every time Mike is said.
You'll be drunk 20 minutes in haha
@@MikeFigueira or in the hospital lol
Dont be laughing at her you are the one without the wheelbarrow. She is working.
Im here for a video on the lift install. 17 mon at home depot is a waste of time.
There is this cool think on CZcams that allows you to click around in a millisecond.
@@ObsessedGarage Another cool feature for creators is chapter breaks. It allows the viewer to know where to skip to if they are not looking for a "how to buy stuff at home Depot" refresher
the only sucker is the guy who own the 6.0L ford
I love the comradery in these (she has to put her teeth in 🤣), but the music playing throughout ain't it fam. It doesn't fit.
Just one thing, I hate the music. Just do the normal videos without that 🙏
That was painful to watch. SMH
