    You will never understand how wonderful the balance is in their machines till you hold one. It is so satisfying!

      I totally feel you! First time I switched from a shinemate 15mm d.a to LHR 15 MK-II, O MY! It was sooo smooth, and quiet. Felt like I was rubbing in warm butter instead of cutting compound on the paint.

    Had a pleasure of playing with one at Rupes in Colorado, amazing unit. Nice and light low fatigue. I’ve got one, plus all the liquids and pads. The pads in themselves are unique super smooth running.

    So going from Rotary to Random Orbital, variable speed and back to Rotary?! I can see where Rotary can be used for faster cutting then finish off with Orbital.

    Hi Guys, long live the rotary as it's still the king despite it's one downside. that is a really great trigger.I love my Fein WPO 14-15 XE at 250-1500 but it doesn't have the torque of the Rupes and is louder. PS does the rupes have angular cut gears or straight cut? I have always found euro tools louder than my Makita's.

    Great, this accelarating trigger actually had been installed on Dewalt DWP849x years ago at only a fraction price.

    I'd like to try it next to the Flex to see what feels better. They both will do the same job.

    Hello Levi and Mr. Rose,
    Have a question, i am new to rotariesand currently own mark II and the ibrid, when using the ibrid with the rotary function it tends to leave holograms that I of course will get rid off with my DA.
    I am planning on getting the Rupes Rotary to start polishing Gel Coats, will this machine and it's slow rotary feature help with the holograms? Or is holograms inevitable? Or something I should master along the way (I.e machine movement , arm speed and pad contact)?

      Yeah I think this guy is way off I have a milwaukee rotary and that goes up to 2800 and has progressive trigger technology as well I think this guy needs to get his facts right I also have a milwaukee mini 3 inch polisher sander thing and that also has progressive trigger

    I have a question, what if some one leaves the polish on the pad for like a year after , and they use a polishing pad cleaner and let the pad dry , is it ok to use that pad again, or throw it away?

  • @IcatchTuna

    Nice tool, but I just dont understand how the trigger is some huge advancement. It's been common on drills and impact sc that cost half the price or less for years.

    At 1700 RPM can you still get out the tougher scratches and Marks on a boat or gel coat ?

    • @luxeangel336
      @luxeangel336 Před 2 lety

      I know I’m 2 years late but I have an answer for you. LOL. This rotary in my opinion is perfect for the automotive scene. You CAN use it on gel coat but I just bust out the harbor freight rotary + wool pad at 2000-3000 rpm
