Degree in finance and have worked in finance my entire professional career. About to finish a masters of data science as well and then get my CFP.
@@Dividendology Data science is a great idea. Wish they had that when I was young. Had to take Actuarial Science classes. Even Financial Analysts were few and far between outside of NY and major cities. Oh well, Such is life.

A good and a bit hidden dividend stock is BAM. Since they did their restructuring separating their asset management from the main company 2 years ago, they have a plan to pay out 90 of earnings as dividends and expect to grow their dividend at 15%. If they can just half way deliver on that, then with a current yield at around 4%, the yield on cost is going to be bonkers 15 years from now. So far so good.
